PaulxReader (Coffee Break)

Y/N loved her job at Hi5 Studios, but recently it had been exhausting. She wasn't complaining though, she was working her dream job. Y/N was going to produce a new channel Hi5 was working on so she was at the office early in the morning till late at night. She really needed coffee or something.
Y/N walked into her shared office with Paul and Tanner and slumped into her chair and sighed. "Whoa Y/N, are you alright you look like you haven't slept in days." Paul asked you with a concerned look on his face. "Yeah Paul I'm fine just been exhausted lately working with this new launch." Y/N replied, "but thanks for worrying so much about me." Y/N said as she winked a started working on her computer.
One of her favorite parts about working at Hi5 was Paul. He has been Y/N's closet friend since the moment she walked in on her first day. It only took her a month to start crushing on Paul. When she found out they were going to be sharing an office together she had gotten so excited and told Tanner everything and he always jokes with her about Paul. Y/N always thinks that Paul doesn't like her that way though he's just being nice.
An hour later had passed before anyone spoke again. "Hey Y/N!" Paul yelled so she could hear him over her headphones. Once she looked up Paul continued. "We're going to get coffee. Looks like you need some." Paul said while coming towards Y/N"s desk and stuck out his hand so she would get out of her chair. "Thanks Paul. You have no idea how much I need a cup of coffee." Y/N said as the two of them headed towards Paul's car.
Once Y/N and Paul got to the coffee shop they ordered. Y/N offered to pay but Paul wouldn't let her. "Paul why didn't you let me pay." Y/N asked as they walked away from the counter. "Because Y/N you deserve to be treated, even more than a cup of coffee but that's all I could do at the moment" Paul said as he booped her nose. "Is that a proposal Paul." Y/N asked, she assumed he was just messing around like normal but then Paul said something Y/N never thought he would.
"Yeah it is" Paul said. "Look Y/N I like you, a lot. Your the sweetest person I've ever met and you are so hardworking it's crazy. You do so much for everyone but no one really does anything for you. If you let me I want to be that person. I want to treat you how you deserve to be treated. Once all this craziness at work is over I would like to take you out for more than just a coffee." Paul finished
Y/N had started crying a little. That was the sweetest thing anyone had ever said about her. Paul wiped the tears from her face "what do you say Y/N?" Y/N then grabbed Paul's face and kissed him. It felt like a million fireworks going off at once. It was something neither of them had ever felt before. They both started laughing as they looked at each other. "Does that answer your question?" Y/N asked.
All the way back to the office Paul and Y/N's hands never broke away from each other. They hadn't even realized they were still holding hands until they walked into their office and saw Tanner with the widest eyes they both had ever seen.
"Wh....wha....what is this?" He finally got out of his mouth as he pointed at their hands.
"We just went to get coffee." They both said and left it at that. It was hilarious to see Tanner flustered so they thought they would pretend everything was normal.
Y/N then sat back at her desk and heard her phone go off.
Paul❤️: Can't wait to take you on a real date sometime
Y/N: Me too. But even coffee with you was everything.
No matter what Paul and Y/N did together it was the best thing. All they needed was each other
