~~Sachi's POV~~
I awoke to my head pounding, feeling like someone smashed it open with a jackhammer. I felt in my hair to make sure it wasn't. I didn't feel any liquids or brains, so I took that as a good sign. I opened my eyes just a hair before squeezing them shut again. It hurt my eyes to open and look out. What happened? I thought to myself, I was searching those thugs and after that it all goes black.
I reached my left hand around my back to feel for my bag with the handguns in it. It was still there, clung to my back like it lived there. I could feel the two handguns inside too. The same two I used to kill the men in the alley, mom's gun and my personal gun. I peeled the bag off of my shoulders and pulled out mom's gun with the heart in it out and pointed it to my left and said, "I can see you, don't waste your time knowing you can't hide from me."
The shadow standing in the dark walked out of the shadows and it was none other than my rival, Canaan. She stood tall with long black hair, eyes so blue they could kill you even if you looked at them with a strange look on your face. Big breasts, a perfect hourglass frame, and finally perfect pink lips.
"You seem surprised that it was me in the alley, Sachi," she smirked.
"No but you don't seem to have it embedded in your skull enough that I've had it with all your filthy games," I snarl. I hate Canaan, the way she thinks she's better than everyone she comes across. I've seen her kill people. Innocent people who still had lots of life to live, all slaughtered. Like where pigs go before their plastic wrapped meat slices in a store. She kills because killing people and enjoying it, makes her stronger. She has no mercy for anyone who passes in her way, and refuses to back off.
"What's wrong Canaan? You seem off," I said hoping to make her off.
"I've decided to let you live today, Sachi. It was a hard decision but I'm tired. Killing fifteen people in training today has absolutely drained me ." She placed her hand on her head and sighed at the end of her statement.
I stood there, gun in hand, Canaan standing in front of me with no weapons. Why don't I shoot her now and all the killing and screaming and pain will all go away? She probably wants me to shoot at her, she has a gun somewhere on her body, I know it.
"Why do you feel you must kill everyone and everything to be stronger?" I asked, stalling.
"Well Sachi, you remember the scientists and superhuman nonsense, getting multiple shots a day? Well you know I was a success also."
"That's a lie! You were a failure, and you always will be Canaan."
"Oh yes my mistake, I forgot you're the damn little rat who barged in and ruined the whole place." She stomped up to me and grabbed my shirt at the collar and said, "You're disgusting, I don't know how you look in a mirror each morning."
Canaan lifted me off the ground and threw me at the wall. My left shoulder smacked up against the wall and I winced in pain.
She grabbed my shirt again and pulled me in close so she could whisper something in my ear, quite possibly a death threat.
I could smell her purfume, it makes me sick every time I see her. It smells like copper, smoke and blood. Oh wait! That's not her purfume, that's always what she smells like after killing people in training.
"The doors are that way. You can go home," Canaan sneered walking away.
I stood up and walked over to the doors and pushed them hard. They opened and banged up against the wall and jumped back at me. I used both hands to keep them open as I walked out, into the storage canter. I started the trek back home as I thought about the ice cream I was going to get . I pulled my phone out of my pocket and sent a text to Kiku.
Sachi: Hey meet me @ the ice cream shop near the house. TTYL I'll be there in about 20 mins.
I pushed send and not even one minute later I got a reply that said:
Kiku: Ok! Meet you l8r! I'm going to get chocolate! :D
I smiled and started running to the ice cream shop.
