Chapter 8

~~Sachi's POV~~

"I saw Canaan today," I repeated to Kiku who was unresponsive the first time.

She got up and put a hand to her face and said, "our Canaan?"

"Well what other bitch named Canaan do we know?" I asked.

Kiku sat back down and told me to explain everything. I told her everything, all of it. At the end, she was basically in tears.

"What are we going to do? If Canaan is back then she'll definetly be able to kill us with one blow!" Kiku stated.

"Don''t think like that! She wants you to think like that! She wants us to think we're weak and she can kill us like fruit flies!" I had so much anger in my words when I said that, I almost wanted to slap her across the face.

"You know what she's capable of, Sachi. So do I. But I just can't help but think that she has even more suffering in store for innocent people. She did run the factory and the town when it was the testing grounds." She stated.

I hugged her across the frosted glass table. "I know, I remember. No need to stir up old memories."

"I don't really have an appetite anymore. Let's go home." She stood up and started walking away.

~~Kiku's POV~~

I started walking away from the ice cream shop without ordering anything. I was so pissed that Canaan actually had the guts to do that to Sachi. She is such an ass.

Canaan and Sachi were rivals from day one, it seems. They always fought in the prison they called home for eight years. After Sachi's mom died, she started to tease Sachi, telling her she would die all alone, like her parents did. One day Sachi was sick of it, that's the day her Heaven's Wings ability started.

With an ability like, Heaven's Wings the user is abled with increased acuracy, sharper sence of smell, eyesight that can be used up to fifty miles away, and increased to the maximum fighting ablities. That how she earned a black belt in karate in two weeks. She's a master at all sorts of fighting styles.

That's how Sachi was able to see Canaan in the pure shadows that would trick any normal person. She could see me walking to the ice cream shop before I saw her. I don't care that Sachi has a huge ability like that, it doesn't change that we are still best friends.

Canaan's ability is....... special. She has the ability called Hell's Wings, the complete opposite of Sachi's ability. Canaan's Hell's Wings give her the power to bring utter and total destruction to anything or anyone she wants. Hell's Wings gives the user increased mental and physical concentration, increased accuracy, increased hearing, increased psychic concentration, and very rarely, the ability to raise the dead.

The ability to raise the dead is exceedingly rare in most cases. You must have a full heart and be able to defeat the most powerful rival in the world. And that rival Canaan must defeat is Sachi. Sachi was the only success classified in the testing program, but when the place was destroyed, Canaan got word of it and wanted to become a test subject too. She had a scientist in training test on her for three years until the twin ability of Sachi's finally matured.

Canaan went crazy and killed the scientist there, and ran away. She was determinded to murder Sachi and be able to raise the dead so she could give people false hope on bringing their dead loved ones back. She's power hungry and Sachi is the only one that can stop her. She knows that too well.

I could defeat Canaan by Sachi's side too. I'm skilled in guns and weaponry like Sachi and Canaan, but Sachi doesn't want me to get myself killed too. I'm the only family she has left.

Dun dun DUN!! Lol I couldn't find any dramatic music so I just decided to do that like in the old movies. I hoped you liked this chapter I finally introduced what Sachi's ability is! And I wanted to add a twist too so  I made Canaan's ability the twin of Sachi's. More drama to come! :D I'm thinking of doing another Yuki chapter, tell me what you think about focusing in on the lonely romantic again. I think it would be hilarious! :) So comment, fan me, and give me a vote or two!
