Marinette looked around her feeling a faint breeze make her loose hair sweep in front of her face. She sat on a bench at the park with her sketch pad and a pencil. The blue bright blue sky had faded into a golden dust of oranges, a few clouds blocked the sun creating the look of candy floss. The mandarin glowed in her eyes making her put her sunglasses on so she wouldn't squint. People were walking their dogs, people were jogging, people were busy. But not Marinette, she was sat still, sketch book on her lap and pencil held in her right hand almost touching the paper. She was stuck. She had no idea what to design.

The fashion events' theme was 'romantic night in Paris' but what did she know about romance? She had never been on a first date. Never wore her first date outfit. She never even thought about what to wear for a date before. She thought about beauty idols because they seemed to be the essence of romance but could never really make anything of it.

She sighed and closed her book, just as she did someone sat down on the other side of the bench, she looked the other way than the stranger and saw other benches that had no one on it. Why do people not understand the meaning of personal space? She thought.

"Well hey to you too," She looked up at the person she thought was a stranger and realised it was Adrien.

"Oh sorry, I-I'm in a world of my own over here... Hi..." Marinette smiled softly turning herself so she was facing Adrien.

"What were you doing?" Adrien pointed to the sketch book in her hand.

"Oh this? Oh... It's nothing." She lied, as she grabbed her bag to put it in, before she even realised, Adrien had taken the book off her and opened it on to a page.

"Wow

"Wow..." Adrien said studying the page. "It looks so simple... but has so many emotions..." Adrien thought out loud and Marinette turned into a tomato.

"A-Adrien no!" She tried to get the book from him but he moved away. "Please don't look at them! They're personal."

"Oh..." Adrien said and closed the book. "Why don't you want me to see?" He smirked looking back at Marinette. "We're friends right? We share things with each other."

"Not that Adrien I will take it to my grave with me!" She got the book from him and stuffed it into her bag hoping it would disappear into thin air.

"Wanna know something..." Adrien spoke smoothly and budged closer to Marinette as if to tell her a secret. Marinette nodded. "One day you will want to show me that book. I promise."

"Yeah..." Marinette snickered. "You wish."

"So, what brings you to the park on such a lovely night?" Adrien asked leaning back on the bench.

"Needed some time out of my bedroom, I have been looking for inspiration." Marinette looked around still seeing the same thing as she saw before.

"What do you need inspiration for?" Adrien asked quite curious.
