There are ten beds in the room. I don’t know what I was expecting but i didn't think i would have to sleep in a room with girls in it. I pick a bed and sit down on it, Samantha picks the bed to my right and Kenzie is to my left.
Dylan seems really nice, Jake is really funny, and Kenzie is crazy. Samantha wanted to start all over and asked everyone to call her Sam.
Everyone falls asleep one by one and from what I can tell it’s just Sam and I that are still up. I can tell that she is crying but I don't know what to do to comfort her.
“Will?” She whispers “Are you awake?”
“Yeah,” I say, she gets up and walks over to my bed and crawls in with me. I don't know how to react.
“I hope you don’t mind, I just really needed someone,”
“I don’t mind,” I tell her. Her hair smells like flowers and her body feels good presses against mine, warm.
“This is a lot harder than I thought it would be, and we haven’t even started training,” I know exactly what she means. I twist her hair around my finger. Then she takes my hand and presses it to her cheek, its wet with tears. Her breathing steadies as she falls into sleep.
