Part 14

The cold spray of the water in the chasm wet my feet. My mind is spinning with everything thats gone on in the past few hours.

It's not true.

It's not possible.

I can't be possible.

My name is William Prior. My father is Caleb Prior. We were Abnegation. I transferred to Dauntless. My mom died when I was little. I am William Prior.

William Prior.

Will Prior.

Will Eaton?

Tris and Four were raised Abnegation, they could have known my father and be using this against me for some sick reason. But why? They have no reason, they actually like me.

They could be my parents.

Oh my god! They could be my parents!

I can't even contemplate what's happening right now. Everything goes by in a whir.

I hear the train horn and run for it. Not really sure where it will take me but I just have to get away.

The dauntless compound fades into the distance as I get farther away from my new home and closer to my old one. I didn't decide to do this, but somehow I end up at the front door of my childhood home.

I don't bother knocking, I just barge right in to find my father in the kitchen eating dinner.

"William?" He looks shocked to see me, "What are you doing here?"

"Who the hell is my mother?" Where this anger came from I have no idea but it is definitely helping me at this point in time.

He sits there with his mouth hanging open like he has no idea what I'm talking about.

"William you need to calm down, you're not thinking selflessly."

"I don't fuckin care if I'm being selfless or not! Why the do you think I left?!" I am so pissed off rift now. I take the throwing knife out of my back pocket and hurl it across the room so it sticks in the wall, right by his head. "You are going to answer me! Who are my real parents?!"

"What happened to just wondering about your mother?"

"Just tell me dad! Or should I even call you that?"

"William there is so much you don't understand." he says backing away from me as I remove my knife from the wall.

"You have no idea how much I understand now." I scream at him "How long did you expect to keep everything from me?! My own mother! My own fuckin parents! You have no right to keep that from me!"

He stands there, silent, shocked.

"Your just a good for nothing KNOWS hiding with the stiffs for your own selfish reasons! And you had to go fuckin drag me into this! I was a helpless baby!" I know there is only thing to do... "I hope you know how to jump on a train."
