We don't make it back to the dormitory until late. It feels like I've just crawled into bed when I am being forced to wake up and go to the pit for training.

"Will, Ryan. On the mat." Uriah yells

The perfect revenge for what he did to Sam. Of course there was last night, but that doesn't count. As long as I get to kick his ass again I'm fine with it.

Sam pulls me into her embrace and whispers "Do it for me." in my ear, then kisses my cheek.

I step up onto the mat and throw the first punch. Right to the throat, putting myself on the offensive side. It takes him a second to catch his breath and try to make a move. But in that split second I kick him in the stomach. He falls to his knees, gasping for air. I hit him one last time, right in the temple, and he falls flat on his face.

I grin, taking in the victory. But it shouldn't have been this easy. Ryan isn't the kind of fighter that would get knocked out in 3 hits. He may just be hurt, from the fight last night. But that wouldn't stop Ryan from trying to whop my ass in a fight. He must be planning something against me.

But consentrating on whatever Ryan is doing pulled me out of reality of longer than I thought. I totaly spaced out on Sam's fight, and am only snaped back into reality by Sam jumping into my arms.

"You did great." I say, hoping she did do well and doesn't know that I wasn't paying attention.

"It was okay. I don't want to watch any more fights, can we just go."

"They said as soon as we're done fighting we can go, but don't you want to stay and watch Kenzi, or Joey, or anyone else?"

"Do we have to?"

"Fine let's go."

We walk around the compound fro almost an hour when we eventually find ourselves in the tattoo parlor, which seems like a commpn theme for us.

"Are you really going to get another one?" I ask her

"If you want to be dauntless, you have to look the part. You should get one too."

"No, my back is already mostly ink. What are you going to get."

"I think I'm going to get mockingjay on my hip." She says, holding the sketch of the bird.

"I'll be back in a little bit." I say with a genius plan now in action and running out the door. "Meet me by the chasm."
