"You need to talk to your parents."
The words run through my head on repeat.
"I never even met Will."
Tris and Four had a son named Will, who would be a little bit older than Lynn. Their son was kidnaped a few weeks after he was born.
I never met my mother. My father says she died when I was a baby. My aunt transfered to Dauntless when she was sixteen, before the war. She would be 32 now. I need to find out who she is and talk to her about my mom.
Just as I'm wrapping up my thoughts someone hits me on the back of the neck.
"Ow" I say grabbing my neck "What was that for?" I turn around to see who hit me.
Sam hands me a burger "What are you thinking about?"
"Nothing, everything, I don't know." I conclude
"You're thinking about what Lynn said,"
I sigh, "it's just she directed the comment to me and it felt so personal."
"Maybe it was, I think you should talk to Lynn, she's the only one that can answer your questions."
At that I get up and go to find Lynn.
When I finally find her I don't hesitate to start questioning her. "Lynn, what the hell were you trying to say tonight because I'm smart enough to know that I was some how involved in your stupid backhanded comment."
"Wow, took you a few hours. To be honest I thought you would be here right after the game."
"What did you mean?"
"I could give you answers but it's not my place."
"How can it not be your place you made the comment in the first place!" I'm getting angry now
"If I told you my parents would kill me,"
"Please, I've never asked you for anything else."
"No I can't do that but I can give you Tris and Four's apartment number."
"Why would that help?"
"Because it may not be my place, but it definitely is their place." she writes down the number and gives it to me.
"Good luck."
"I still don't understand why you can't tell me."
"Don't worry about it just go talk to them now."
