Part 18

We took out final tests earlier today, my gear landscape was terrible but I think I got through fast enough. Everyone was so impressed that I only had five fears but mine was just as bad as everyone else's.

As soon as we were able to go I hightailed my ass out of there and away from everyone else. I just needed some space before the induction ceremony tomorrow so I just wondered the halls.

Eventually I end up at Tris and Four's apartment, and I knock. I hear rustling and muted voices, so I know for sure they are home. Four opens the door and invites me in.

"Will, we were just about to watch a movie, you want to join?" He says

"Babe who's at the door?" I hear Tris say as we walk in and I make my way to the couch.

Four goes into the bedroom where, I'm assuming, Tris is. I take it upon myself to play the movie, I guess it's as good of distraction as any.

Four and Tris come and sit next to me on the couch, bearing popcorn and beers.

"Don't you find it a little weird that you are supplying your only son with alcohol, what's next giving me condoms?" I say jokingly

"Why? Do you need condoms? Because I'm sure Four would lone you some." Tris says, not understanding i wasn't being serious.

I chuckle as Four explains it to her. "But if you ever did need anything like that I'm sure your uncle Uriah or Zeke would gladly supply you." He tells me laughing.

Tris doesn't seem to like this joke "You shouldn't be having sex at all at this age!"

"Babe.." Four says kissing her temple.

Okay I can play with this a little bit, "I'm sure you guys weren't much older than me when you started sleeping together.." I take a swig of beer and the door flys open.

"Heer ye, heer ye! Fear not the noble Uriah has arrived to liven up your night!" He sits down with Christina right on the floor in front of the couch.

Everyone stays silent for a little when Christina speaks up "did we intrude on a cute family moment?"

Four laughs "Don't worry our conversation was far from that."

"That's for sure, honey, I heard the whole thing, Will was asking about when they started sleeping together and boy do I have some stories to tell!" Uriah yells.

"Please, Uriah, he is our son. You don't need to tell him all of your dirty stories." Tris begged but there was no stopping him.

"Twas a magical time of complete joy and happiness, post war and pre you, no offense. And these two love birds had finally returned back to the compound after months of being in the hospital. And though it may not seem these guys were so eager to jump each others bones that, swear to God, she was giving him a hand job under the dinner table."

"Uriah! You know that never once happened right!" Tris interrupted

"Are you telling the story? Didn't think so. Anyway, our little gang decided to go play never have I ever/truth or dare which has not been played on the compound since, I might add. 'What is this amazing game?' you might ask and I would tell you that it is only the most intense game ever! It's never have I ever and with each question you had to either do it, hence dare, or explained what happened the first time, hence truth.

"So the question was...crap I can't remember...anyway it ended up with your parents hooking up in a coat closet. end of story."

"Really? That it? You gave it so much build up then just stopped in your tracks, I thought you were fun Uncle Uriah!" I say

"Sorry, T over here was doing the glare he is so famous for! I had no choice but to tell yon the PG version."

"T?" I ask

"Oh shit. You done it now." Christina says

Four just blurts out, "Tobias."

"What?"

"Tobias, that's my real name, but I would really appreciate if you didn't call me that ever thanks and goodnight." he gets up and walks into the bedroom.

"I'm sorry will, your dad's past is a touchy subject. Im going to go to bed with him but you are welcome to stay on the couch if you want. I know how nerve wracking this whole thing is."Tris says as she leaves the room also.

"Don't worry about it bud, your parents are amazing people but their back stories don't bring the best memories." Uriah says as they both leave too, leaving just me and my thoughts until morning.
