the group entered the hotel lobby, excited to see what was in store.
"aloha!" one worker greeted, placing a flower lei.
"this isn't even hawaii! i like it!" carson whispered to brynn.
"you're so childish," brynn whispered back, giggling at what he said.
"okay, let's check in, amigos!" hayden waved to everyone, and went to the desk.
"you excited?" darius asked nadia, smiling.
"meh, i just want to stay in bed and use my phone," nadia replied honestly.
"come on, nads! it's gonna be fun!" darius tried convincing her while she scrolled through her feed through instagram.
"i'll think about it." nadia replied, clicking on a video clip of an extremely adorable puppy.
"i hope i'm in a room with hayden!" annie whisper yelled to lauren. lauren was kind of starting to get irritated, but knowing lauren, she wouldn't intend to hurt anyone at all, so she kept her irritation to herself.
"aha," lauren simply replied.
"i can't wait!" brynn said excitedly to johnny, while he just smiled, admiring her.
after a couple of minutes, hayden was done checking in for everyone.
"okay guys! we're going to be splitting into a few rooms!" hayden spoke to everyone.
"for the birthday boy, you have a room with brynn! nadia and darius, you will be sharing a room together. lauren and annie, you guys are sharing a room together too! carson, kenzie, and i are sharing a room! woohoo!" hayden said excitedly. hayden felt like a good mama.
they all went to the elevator to get to eachother's rooms.
johnny and brynn arrived in their room, carson was talking to them so he decided to just stay for a bit.
"aww man," brynn suddenly said, looking at the text her mom had sent her.
"what's wrong, brynnie?" johnny asked, wrapping his arms around her hips from behind.
