kenzie looked at previous pictures of her and johnny while she continued to eat her big cup of ben and jerry's cookie dough ice cream as her eyes got watery.
all she could think of was, "why am i the most stupid person on the planet?"
"mackenzie! where did the ice cream go?" yelled madison, her older sister.
"i'm eating it!" kenzie yelled back, finishing it quickly before maddie got up to grab the ice cream from her. she heard loud footsteps, adding up to her anxiousness.
"not to be rude or anything, but i think you've been gaining weight since the you-know-what." maddie admitted, placing her hands on her hips.
"wow. thanks for decreasing my self esteem, mads." replied kenzie, re-tying her messy bun.
"i kind of just said that cause you're eating up all the ice cream," maddie chuckled. "but seriously, you are, and i just don't you to start getting lazy."
"i'm not, maddie." kenzie grinned.
"okay. promise me you'll come to the gym with me tomorrow then?" maddie requested.
"but i'm busyyyy—" mackenzie complained.
"see, l to the a to the z to the y. lazy," maddie giggled. "what are your plans anyways?"
"trying to get johnny to love me again and watching set it up because i'm a lonely beach." kenzie pouted.
"it's funny how you think he doesn't love you, knowing johnny orlando, he still does and is probably just trying to convince himself he's not when he really loves you. plus, you guys just broke up, how can he move on so quickly? it's impossible," maddie claimed. "when jack and i broke up, lilia told me he was a mess, and i was too. but, look where i'm at now! i'm single and happy! i just keep on dreaming about zac efron and i'm good to go!"
"zac efron is your crush. johnny is mine. i'll keep dreaming about him, and maybe i'll be fine," kenzie said. "ooh! that rhymed!"
"you're never going to move on," maddie spoke. "but i support that. you and john were made for each other. you know what they say, if ex-lovers are still friends they were probably never in love or still are. you and john are still in love. your love is true, your true is love, you and john have a true love."
"you're so weird." kenzie giggled.
"you keep stealing the ice cream." maddie smirked, crossing her arms.
"and yet," they said in sync. "we still love eachother."
maddie and mackenzie then embraced in a warm hug. maddie never failed to cheer up her baby sister, the same with mackenzie cheering up maddie. they were sisters— and sisters are forever.
