everyone in the non-dramaticz group chat arrived at lauren and johnny's house, scurrying silently to lauren's room which was right next to her brother's. after waiting a couple of minutes, they heard the door of johnny's room close— not to mention kenzie giggling at her boyfriend. everyone, except john and kenz of course, leaned into the wall, trying to listen to there conversation. it was boring, though— til johnny asked an interesting question.
"would you ever go round two with me?" he asked curiously at the brunette.
"well, after the little accident we had i think it's enough-" she accidentally blurted as everyone else in the other room widened their eyes.
"what accident?" he questioned.
"i didn't say accident, i said sexual ness?" she stated like a question.
"i heard accident." he replied.
"there was no accident, john," she lied.
"no. kenz, tell me. what happened? you know you can trust me." he said worried.
"nothing happened, johnny. can we please talk about something else?" she replied madly.
"why are you mad? if anything, i'm the one who's supposed to be mad! you're keeping something from me!" he yelled as everyone else was shook.
"i'm not keeping something from you! you're supposed to trust me!" she responded with nervousness in her voice.
"you're supposed to be on my side!" he said.
"i'm always on your side!" she spoke.
"what are you keeping from me, kenz? please, i'm worried about you," he stated with anxiousness in his green eyes.
"nothing, john." she said.
"wait a minute. accident, we had— oh my gosh! you're pregnant!" he screamed, standing up from his bed and running his hands through his hair worriedly. "where's the baby? is she okay? is he okay? how long have you been pregnant?"
she looked down sadly.
"shoot. you— did y-you abort it?" he stuttered sadly.
"why would you do that!" he yelled.
"i was scared, john! i'm only fifteen, i'm way too young to bare a child! what if you were going to leave me? i can't lose you, johnny! so i did what i had to do," her voice cracked, as she was about to tear up.
"if we were going to have a baby, i would never leave you. ever. i can't leave someone i love so much and a child that would've done so much things." he stated.
everyone was going crazy, yet remaining quiet.
"but you shouldn't have done that, mackenzie," he said. he only uses mackenzie when he's super serious. that's how bad you could tell this was.
"i'm sorry," she cried.
"sorry doesn't bring a baby back to life," he replied angrily.
"john, please, forgive me-" she spoke.
"who knew about this? hayden? annie? nadia? my sister?" he asked as she shook her head.
"carson?" he questioned as everyone in the other room looked at carson while kenzie looked down.
"carson, huh? wow! you trust him even more than me! you trust everyone more than me!" he yelled, his hands on his hips.
"john-" she tried to talk until the door busted open, revealing carson.
"she didn't do anything wrong," the blonde said. as everyone followed him, hiding behind him.
"what's that supposed to mean?" john asked.
"i told her to do it," carson lied.
"why would you do that?" johnny said, literally about to hit carson.
"no, he didn't— john, i did it." kenzie said.
a sad silence stayed between the two. sadness filled the air. it was terrifying. she felt like her life was already a wreck— just when she started fixing this with him it had to go downhill, again. while on the other hand for him, he was rethinking everything he did.
everyone still remained quiet.
"i think we should break up." john said.
"what? no, please— john," kenzie replied.
"i'm sorry," he said, storming off.
"you can't storm off! this is your house!" carson yelled.
"i can storm off wherever i want!" johnny shouted back as hayden ran behind him, mouthing sorry to everyone else.
once john was really gone, everyone embraced kenzie in a sad hug.
