5 // The Girl.

Erika's POV-
I woke up today and was excited to go to school to see if I made the cheer team. I got ready and ate breakfast with my brother and Anthony. I told them I was going with Tessa and they nod their heads.
Tessa texted me shortly after, saying that we should leave. I say bye and I go to school.
Tessa and I went straight for the board and I saw I made Captain. I was so ecstatic. Then Tessa looked for her name... but couldn't find it.

Tes: I didn't make the team.
Erika: what? Why not!? You're better than me at cheer
Tes: well .. you see...
Erika: Tes! What did you do..
Tessa: I told the coaches I didn't want to join this year.
Erika: TESSA! Why would you do that!
Tes: E! I want to join the dance team.
Erika: aw baby t ! Wait.. then why'd you go to tryouts?
Tessa: because I wanted to be there for you.
Erika: aww T🧡

We hugged and then the boys came our way. I saw Jake and my stomach started fluttering. Yesterday was something else. I liked it a lot, and after thinking about it all night, I came to the realization that he could potentially be my next move.
But I was gonna keep this plan on the low. I don't want anyone knowing yet.
They came up to us, and asked.

Chance: so what spot did you get?
Erika: oh you know.. just head captain.

I said as casual as possible trying not to make a big deal.
Again they all started cheering me on. I just laughed at how stupid these guys were. Logan came up to me and hugged me

Logan: MY GIRLFRIEND IS HEAD CHEERLEADER
Erika: oh my god- can you be any louder?
Chance: wait a second..
Erika: it's a joke kid, calm down.
Jake: yeah.. plus I'm her real boyfriend. Right rik.
Erika: Totallly.
Tessa: gross.
Anthony: oh yeah.. Erika I've been meaning to talk to you about something.
Logan: anything you need to say to my girlfriend you can say to both of us

I slapped his arm and walked away with Tony.

Erika: so what's up Tony?

We walked outside since school didn't start for another 15 minutes.

Anthony: I'm just gonna say it but I don't know how you'll react.
Erika: what? You're scaring me.
Anthony: look.. rik I like you. I like you a lot. But I don't want to act on these feelings because our relationship is so good. I wanna stay how we are but there's this feeling like I just wanna-

I cut him off with a kiss. I kiss his perfectly shaped lips and he kisses me back.
I don't know why I kissed him. It just felt like the thing to do. When I pull back I felt a smile grow on Anthony's face.
I panic and run back inside. So far I've kissed Jake and Tony and it's still the first month of school. Chance would kill me if he found out. I run inside and head straight to first.
Anthony and Tessa walked in together and I avoided eye contact. Logan then came and sat next to me.

Logan: what's wrong babe?
Erika: I'm not feeling well.
Logan: cramping?
Erika: yes. *lying*

Logan got up and left class. The teacher yelled at him but he didn't listen. I was kinda lonely since he left and I was avoiding Tony.
Finally the bell rings and I head to second. I didn't have to avoid Anthony there but I did have the class with Jake. And we still haven't talked.

He walks in and sit next to me.
Jake: hey rik
Erika: hi Jake

It was a little awkward, but I didn't want it to be.

Erika: So.. how's-

Before I could break the ice, a girl walks up to us and she started flirting with Jake, and he was flirting back a little.
