2// Old Squad Reunion

Erika's POV-
I'm at my moms party with Chance, Tessa, Jake, Logan, and Anthony.

Tessa: I'm so happy you're back Rik
Chance: ... and me?
Tessa: I guess. I just need a girl around since I live with a bunch of... gorillas.
Jake: hey!
Logan: we're not that bad.
Tessa: you guys literally annoy me all the time.. even when your not around.
Erika: I can't believe Pam (Jake/Logan's mom) and Jerry (Tessa's dad) got married. That's so funny.
Chance: and even better, you three live together!

Chance, Anthony and I laugh while the rest roll their eyes.

Logan: you aren't the easiest to live with Tessa
Tessa: oh please.
Jake: theres literally no junk food in the house because of you.
Tessa: Is that a bad thing? I have to stay fit for cheer
Logan: WELL sometimes Tessa, us big boys like to sit back and munch on some Doritos and Twinkie's
Jake: yeah, I have to be at a specific weight for wrestling and buff for football.... by the way, Chance are you gonna take up any sports?
Chance: football and basketball, for sure.
Anthony: same.
Logan: I'm not doing any this year.. senior year is the year of relaxation.
Erika: what about college?
Tessa: Please tell me you're going to college. One less paul would be amazing.
Logan: of course I'm going dipwads.
Jake: moms making him..
Logan: shut up Jake

We all laugh and Pam and Jerry get up to say that their leaving. It was already 12:00am.
Pam: kids let's go.
Logan: once again mom, we aren't kids.
Jerry: well okay, adults let's go!  *trying to be funny*
Tessa: *whispers* so annoying.

I laugh at Tessa's comment and hug her and the rest goodbye. I close the door and walk back to the kitchen to see Chance, my mom and Anthony talking.

Erika: why is tony still here?
Chance: not funny Erika.
Erika: it was a genuine question... Chance
Angel: well... Anthony's living with his mom again..
Erika: Oh

I feel a frown grow on my face. Anthony's life was always the toughest. His mom was an alcoholic, who never looked after him and his dad was very abusive to his mom. His dad left a little after we did. But Anthony was always at our house. My mom even called him, her second son.

Angel: I just suggested that he stay with us, but he doesn't want to.

I walk over to him and pull him aside. We always had a good bond. I was as close to him as I was Tessa.. or Chance.

Erika: What's going on?
Anthony: well I was living with my aunt, but she had to move, so I had to come back to my moms. It's been three months since I've actually seen her at home... But usually I'm with Jake and Logan at their house so I won't have to go to an empty home.
Erika: Then why not stay here?
Anthony: Rik.. its a lot. People don't take in other kids just because their life is hard at home.. it's embarrassing enough my moms an alcoholic. I don't need pitty.
Erika: you won't move in because your ashamed?? Shut up, your moving in and that's final.
Anthony: Erika... n-

I grab his hand and lead him back into the kitchen.

Erika: he's in!
Angel: great! I'll show you your room, and we can pick up your stuff tomorrow.. I need more people to take care of, since I don't have a husband to attend to anymore...
Chance: mom, don't think about him. He's a piece of shit man. Who cheats on their wife for 3 years? A dead beat, that's who.
Erika: yeah, fuck him. You don't need a man
Angel: actually I'm getting sleepy, Erika or Chance.. show Anthony to his room...
Chance: not it!

I roll my eyes and jerk my head upstairs to Tony so he could follow me.
We went upstairs and I showed him the house.

E: moms room is downstairs, and there's four bedrooms upstairs. This first one on the left is chances. Then the second one is a guest room, as well as the third one on the left... The one at the end is mine, it's the biggest one at the top. Duh. Then the only one on the right is yours.
