Come Back

1 // Just Moved in..

Erika's POV-
It's August and school starts this Monday. It's been one hell of a summer for my twin brother Chance and I. We aren't identical twins, just fraternal.
We don't look alike much. We both have green eyes and light brown hair. But he's taller and has more 'game' than I do. He's a little protective, not annoyingly, but the right kind.

When we were young, we lived in Ohio. With both our mom and dad. We stayed in Ohio for about the first 10 years of my life. Then we moved, because my dad got a promotion. I was sad when we moved, because I was popular. I had so many friends. My best friends included Tessa, Makenzie and Sunny.
Chance was also popular. His friends included Jake, Anthony, and Logan. Logan was a year older than the rest of us, but they were all close. The boys, especially Jake, Anthony and Chance, would annoy and mess with me all the time.

Over the summer, my mom and dad got a divorce. We moved back to Ohio, and into our old house. Somehow mom got the exact house back. It was good because it big, but bad because it was the house right next to Jake and Logan's. I knew if they were anything like they were before... this could be the worst two years of my life.

My mom decided that she was going to throw a "Welcome Back" Party for herself. I laughed at the idea, but she invited all of our old friends and neighbors so I was excited.
The party was tomorrow night. Saturday night at 7.
Mom hired a moving company to help us pack, move and unpack our stuff.
Once we were in the old-new house the movers brought all of our boxes in who's ever room they went in.
I unpacked all my stuff and fixed my bed. I had a vanity in my bathroom, I was most excited about. I had a walk-in closet and my own room. It was 3:30 pm when I finished my room and Chance finished his. We both walked downstairs to see what my mom was up to.

Erika: Hey mom.
Chance: What are you doing?
Angel: I just finished my room. Will you guys help me unpack the living rooms and kitchen?
Erika/Chance: Of course!

My mom
Started in the kitchen while Chance and I start in the first living room. The movers set up the tv and placed the couch in the room but not where it's suppose to go.
Chance: Alright Erika, pick up that side and I'll get this side...

We lifted the couch up and moved it so that it was opposite side of the Tv. Chance unboxed all the boxes and I placed everything where it went.

Erika: Okay, one living room down. Let's go to the other one. Then we can do the dinning room.

Chance nods his head and we finish up the last two rooms.
Once we finish the rooms my mom just finished the kitchen.

Angel: Okay, I think we're done. We just need to get groceries, toiletries, and maybe we can do a little school shopping?
Chance: So down.
Erika: let me change real quick.

I run up and change into black pants and a orange cropped hoodie. When I walk back down Chance had the keys in his hand, and mom was looking for her purse.
Angel: Where's my pur- wait it's in my room.
Chance: we're taking moms car
Erika: Okay, then I got shotgun.
Chance: MOM YOURE RIDING IN THE BACK AND ERIKA AND I ARE GONNA WAIT IN THE CAR

My mom yells 'ok' back and Chance and I walk to my moms car.
Erika: I can't wait for my car to get here.
Chance: Me too sis, I'm definitely gonna need it here.

My mom gets in and we leave to get groceries and toiletries.
Erika: mom did we need new towels?
Angel: OH YES! You and your brother go and get a couple, my bathroom is black, so get me a couple of black ones.. you and Chance get a couple of whichever color.
Erika: Okay.
Chance and I walk to the towels and I get black ones for my mom, Grey for me and Chance gets blue ones.
We finish up shopping for the house and it's about 5:00. We go back home to drop everything off and then we go to the mall for some clothes.
Chance: thank god we don't have to wear those hideous uniforms anymore
Erika: I liked those.. a lot of guys liked it on me actually..

I smirk and look over at Chance who was annoyed by my comment.
Chance: Not funny Erika
Erika: And btw, I don't need you up my ass this year when it comes to boys. I'm gonna a junior so let me be.
Chance: Okay first off, I'm not "up your ass" about anything. That's gross your my sister. And two.. I'm gonna have to approve of your bitch boyfriend.
Erika: Fine, and I'm gonna have to approve of your slutty girlfriends.
Angel: Okay guys... tone it down..
Chance: no way. You think every girl I date is a slut
Erika: because you don't date them. You just smash and leave them.
Chance: whatever, your mad because you're still a virgin.
Erika: Is that suppose to be an insult?
Angel: WAIT A SECOND.. Chance since when are you not a virgin?!
Chance: mom.. I don't want to talk about that with you..
Angel: well I want to know. How many girls? And are you using protection?
Chance: Yes mom- Can we just go now.

We go to the mall and we go to places like Forever 21, Gucci, LV, and my personal favorite.. Victoria Secret.

Chance: woah woah. Erika, do you really need anything from in there?
Erika: yes! They have the 7 for $27 deal right now on panties! And I need new bras- maybe some linge-
Chance: OKAY THATS ENOUGH.. I'll be in the car waiting..

I laugh at how uncomfortable he gets. My mom and I go in and buy some things. I encourage her to buy stuff too, since she's been kinda sad lately. I told her that seeing herself in something nice she'll boost her confidence. She agreed and we got a lot. We met Chance back in the car.
Once we get home I hang up all my clothes and put all my undergarments up and my new shoes.
We aren't filthy rich but we are rich. Blessed I should say..
It's getting late so mom ordered pizza and we all ate together and then we went to sleep.
I took a shower, washed my face, brush my teeth and then went to bed.

Tomorrow is the day I see everyone again. I was a bit nervous. But excited.
