12 // The Confrontation.

Jakes POV-
Erika kissed me right after we confessed our feelings for each other.

Jake: Lets get more serious.
Erika: what?
Jake: not dating officially, but we both are off the market. We can wait to be together. And in waiting, we can actually spend time together and develop more feelings.
Erika: Jake..

She was about to let me down, i could feel it. My head dropped into my hands.

Jake: forget it.
Erika: no, wait. I was gonna say.. Jake, i love that idea.
Jake: really?

She nods her head and smiles, managing to bite her lip as well.
I lean in and she follows and we start making out. She bites my bottom lip and tangles her fingers in my hair. She slips her tongue in my mouth and i smile within the kiss. Shes so sneaky its cute.
We stayed like this for a while, until the door swung open and crashed with the wall behind it. Erika rolled her eyes as she pulled her sweet lips off mine.

Chance: WHAT THE HELL ERIKA
Erika: oh shut up. Don't act like i couldn't hear you and Tessa banging. Like animals

Chance disregarded her comment and made focus to me.

Chance: you.. you were supposed to be my boy. But you used my sister and took her innocence.
Jake: i didn't use-

Erika cut me off.

Erika: FOR THE LAST TIME IT WAS A MUTUAL DECISION HE DIDNT USE ME
Chance: yeah, like you'd know. He ran right back to Hoeley. (Hailey😹)
Erika: Mhm. And are you gonna call Tessa tomorrow?
Chance: yes, of course
Erika: you're bluffing. Now get out of my room!
Chance: not until he leaves.
Erika: GET OUT!! HES NOT LEAVING
Chance: neither am i

Erika pushes him out and slams the door in his face. After she locks it.

Erika: okay, so this little promise thing we have. Includes no sex, no kissing, or dating other people.
Jake: wait... can we still do those things.. with each other?

She pauses and thinks about it. She placed her finger on her chin and looked up as if she was really trying to decide, but i knew she could turn it down.

Erika: we can mess around a bit. But other people off limits. We wont tell anyone about this.. not friends, family, and especially not Chance.
Jake: agree.
Erika: how long do you think this should last?
Jake: as long as it takes to trust each other babe.

Erikas POV-
I almost melted when he called me babe. I bit my lip and leaned in. Again we started to make out. Jake pulls away as his phone rings.

Jake: its logan..
Erika: answer it.

He gets up and answers. As he's on the phone he paces around my room. I didn't really pay attention to what he was saying, instead i was admiring how cute he is. He looks so good in those solid gray Nike joggers and a white tee. His body is so hot. He hair, so fluffy and blond. His perfect smile and beautiful eyes.
I sat and concentrated on him. What a charming kid.

Few weeks later

Erikas POV-
Jake and I have been spending a lot of time together. Its a bit awkward between Chance and Jake at Lunch, but Chance agreed to let me keep seeing him. Not that i needed his approval, but my logic really hit him i guess.
Him and Tessa are getting pretty serious. Also Anthony found a new friend. Her name is Rocky. I think. I don't know her much.  But she seems chill.
Anyways, Tessa's birthday is coming up. She rented a place in Aspen. She's turning 18 finally.
She invited the group and a couple others. So thats what we are doing this three day weekend.
We were all at Lunch when Tessa brought it up again. Shes very excited.
