Jim and I swam across the river, into John's territory as Dutch once again called for us.

"Listen up, kid. The valley is turning into a war zone. Cult's taking food, goods, equipment, whatever they want... even people John Seed is forcing 'e out of their homes and making 'em join the cult. If folks refuse, well... they ain't treated well. Worst of it seems to be centred around Fall's End, so I'd head that way." Spotting a large red silo to the left of us, Jim and I made our way to it, taking out the Peggie guarding it. Jim handed me a grenade he'd picked up from a Peggie earlier. I removed the pin and threw it at the silo, exploding the structure in a ball of flames. But it didn't go unnoticed. Two trucks of Peggies drove up and began to attack us. Dodging the onslaught of bullets, we returned fire, taking them out one by one. Once every Peggie was down, we took their ammo and weapons before hopping into one of the trucks and began driving towards Fall's End. The radio played Amazing Grace as we began to drive. I quickly turned off the radio, refusing to listen to anything to do with Joseph Seed. As we drove, we spotted a fuel tanker with the Peggie cross painted on it driving towards us. I stopped the car and began shooting at the tanker, causing it to explode with the Peggies inside. I hopped back in the car and continued. As we approached another cult outpost, we parked the vehicle and made our way towards the Gardenview Packing Facility.

"You take the left, I'll take the right," I said to Jim, before splitting up and began climbing up to a higher vantage point. I pulled out my sniper rifle and took aim at one of the Peggies. Noticing a red barrel next to him, I switched targets to the barrel and fired. Exploding the barrel and taking out the Peggie. I then began to fire at other Peggies around. As I shot, I could see Jim taking out Peggies with his hunting knife. Kicking the back of their knees and then stabbing them in the head as they knelt.

Smart move. I'll have to try that sometime. I thought before focusing on the Peggies, who'd noticed where I was. I took aim again and continued to shoot them. Jim must have disabled the alarm, as one of the Peggies tried to call for reinforcements, only to be met with silence. Soon each Peggie dropped, Jim and I began searching around for ammo and weapons we could take. I radioed out that the Gardenview Packing Facility was clear of Peggies, hoping that someone would come and protect it. Sure enough, citizens began to roll in, helping us clean up the place and dispose of the Peggies bodies.

"Hell of a job liberating that place, Rook. I told you there's plenty of folks wanting to fight Eden's Gate, they just need a leader... and I think they finally got one. The more you take from the cult; the more people will be willing to help you fight back." Dutch radioed us, pleased with the results of our liberation.

"Thanks Dutch, but I'm no leader. I'm just trying to help free them." I answered. I would never be a leader, if these folks found out who my soulmates were, they would never trust me. I can't lead them to victory, all I can do is help push the Peggies back and let the Resistance take over. A man jogged over to me, his red vest with a worn out American flag was covered in dirt and dust.

"Hey, thanks for taking this place back from those Peggies. I'm Jake Cooke, if you need any help, you just call. Least I can do to show my appreciation to you." The man, Jake said, grateful for the help.

"No problem, we could use all the help we can get, if you're willing. The name's Jasmine, but people call me Rook." I said shaking his hand, grateful for another person to help fight. "We're heading over to Fall's End if you wanna come with us." Jake picked up an assault rifle and followed us.

"Hey miss, think you can help me for a second." A man shouted. I nodded as he continued. "All this ripe fruit is attracting bears. Under normal circumstances, we'd try to catch 'em and release 'em somewhere safer. But these bears got into some of that Bliss crap the cult had stored out back. It's makin' 'em act all crazy, it's too dangerous to try to catch 'em. We gotta put 'em down. You mind giving us a hand?"
