When I came to, my eyes widened. The world was stained red, a projection of a wolf snarling stared at me, the two people sat limp in the chairs ahead of me. I ripped my arms from their restraints, standing up as my head pounded. I pressed my middle and pointer finger into the necks of the limp people... No pulse. I looked around, spotting no guards or Peggies in the room, only a light shining on a pistol left on the table. Grabbing the pistol, I looked up as the two bodies in the chair stood up, pointing their guns at me. I raised my gun and shot at them, a bullet going straight though their heads. The pistols dropped from their hands as they disintegrated into ash and embers.
"Excellent." A voice echoed out as I ran out of the room. Another pistol with a silencer was taped to a green box. I ripped the pistol free of the tape and ran into the next room. My heart pounded in my ears as I ran. Where-ever I was, the place seemed chaotic. The walls where broken, items suspended in the air. I shook my head, focusing on getting out of here. I rounded a corner as I spotted another Peggies stood looking at a wall. I fired, once again he disappeared into ash and embers when he was dead. Gunshots flew past me from above, I turned around at jumped up onto a ledge, killing the Peggie stood there. I ran through the ash cloud as I charged at another Peggie, kicking his legs out from beneath him and firing a single bullet into his head. Another Peggie rounded a corner, I leapt down as he passed under the ledge, taking him out two. A small door opened to the left of me.
"Good, my warrior. Cull the herd." The voice spoke once again. My eyes narrowed as I recognised the voice finally. I charged through the door, picking up the shotgun that rested against more green boxes. I ran into the next area, running through the corridors as I fired at the enemies that hid around corners. The pounding in my head and the pounding of my heart echoed as I ran, picking up an assault rifle next to a doorway. I stepped through the doorway into what seemed like a cemetery. I ran behind cover as two Peggies began firing at me. I aimed and fired at one of them, taking them out in a cloud of ash before turning the rifle to the other one, killing them too. I ran forwards, something uneasy stirred in my stomach. Another enemy charged towards me before disintegrating as I shot at him. I ran towards the door that the enemy had just come out from.
"Well done." Jacob praised me as I picked up a submachine gun, running into the next room. I aimed and fired at an enemy stood on a bannister, taking him out as I ran up the stairs, leaping over a chunk of missing stairs. I pulled myself up, gritting my teeth. I took a quick breath before charging forwards, firing at two more enemies above me.
"Yes. Sacrifice the weak, my warrior." Jacob's voice praised me once again, I gritted my teeth.
I bet he's enjoying this I thought as I ran, taking out two more enemies in front of me. I jumped over the gap in the floor, sliding down a steep tunnel. My vision faded to black once again.

I opened my eyes, my vision swaying as I tried to focus. A soft melody was sweeping through the air as I looked ahead. Something moved in front of me in the light. I tried to make out what it was, but the harder I tried to focus, the blurrier the image became.
"What a mess. Wheaty, check those chairs." A voice called out in the distance. Another figure entered my field of vision, passing through the light.
"Jesus the smell." A second voice softly said. My ears strained to make out the words. My vision focused slightly. Two men were standing in the room, searching around. One of them walked passed me, holding his nose.
"Been stewin' in their own filth for days. Walker, get some windows open." The first voice asked. My vision cleared up, bringing the world into focus. A young man wearing a backwards cap knelt in front of me, looking at the body of a dead man, his eyes and nose had streams of dried blood on them.
