I've decided its too tiresome to keep updating my Tumblr and Wattpad accounts separately, so I've decided to include some of my more random MLB fan arts into their own Doodlebook!
This Doodlebook will have everything from a five day long painting c...
Yup. Pigeons... My dad works as an Electrician. So often he's working in old or barely used buildings. Amd its not all too rare to find abandoned/in danger baby animals. But because my dad has a big heart, a love for animals, and little to no common sense, he often brings them home with him. (This is actually how we got ahold of Dusty, my majestic cat in the last chapter. Newborn kitten in the rafters of an old warehouse. Story for later, purr-haps ;3) ...and two days ago, that's exactly what happened again. While working on a roof schedueled to be cleaned, my dad found these baby pigeons. If he left them there, they would die when the people came to clean the roof. So now there's an old laundry basket with baby pigeons in my room. The case with baby animals coming home used to be Dad would bring them home, beg Mom to let him take care of them till theyre old enough, she'd say yes as long as Dad promised to take FULL responsibility...and then SHE ended up having to care for the babies while dad is work. Obviously, my mother wasnt very pleased... And the same thing happened with this batch of babies. But NOW there's another person capable and willing to feed baby animals. Can you guess who? Me. Dont get me wrong. I LOVE animals. But ive in the past been a bit TOO supportive of my dad on his spontaneous "we need new PETS!!" urges. SO supportive, my dad has started texting ME first when he has a new rescue/animal he wants to bring home. BEFORE he contacts Mom. So Mom is now glaring down my neck to be more stiff backed to my dad when he suggests new animals, ever since the Duck-tastrophe. (Another story for another time...) So here i am...trying to take care of pigeons, and staying neutral for my Mom's sake and my own cause we gotta release them once theyre old enough. But its honestly hard when one moment im like "ew.. those things ugly..." And the next im like Dont come NEAR my BABIEESSS Does that make me a bad babysitter...?

Yup... THATS what a baby pigeon looks like. These guys are about 20 days old, according to google images. I SAW newborn pigeons, and honestly this is an improvement. Gender is impossible to tell till one starts laying eggs so they're names are Ugly 1 and Ugly 2

They're actually alot uglier in person. But in case you were wondering, i feed them with a syringe full of baby bird formula down their gullet. Needless to say...traumatizing event for all involved. ...but i think its now safe to say...
