It really is tho. Idk how many other artists struggle with this, but like when you set out to draw, you have a 50/50 chance of it working out. And then if it DOES work, then you have another 50% of it not even being at ALL like what you originally wanted. Like for today for instance. I wanted to draw a cat. So i made a tiny semi-realistic bad ass dragon instead. The toes look cool. So i go to the next page to practice drawing my dragon toes/feet. A reference or "study" page.(one of those pages full of JUST that one body part/animal/feature.) And THEN an hour later i have this...this...THING.

He's just so...so...so freaking MAJESTIC. Holding his little TEAPOT. In that POSE. And might i add his toes look PERFECT too btw. Still doesnt stop him from looking like a tired therapist who is done listening to your crap but still is going to ask you how your day went because he is contractually obligated to. But the thing is...art is full of surprises all the time. You dont create art. Art drags you into the dark alley and holds you under gunpoint to make the weirdest things. Wanna draw a cool snake? Now give it a humanoid body and make it a COBRA MAN. WITH A SPEAR. AND SHIRTLESSSS and whats that on his tail? Idk ADD IT ANYWAYS
