MORE MERMAIDS cause...yeaaa....

Okay yall should know by now i have a weird obsession with mermaids, and thus MLB mermaid.

But i cant help it when mermaids are so FRICKING FUN TO DRAW.

like legit. 12/10 will always be drawing.

Anywho...its been forever since ive posted legitamate stuff. So...here's the project ive been workibg on for a few days now!

AND I MADE A LEGITAMATE BACKGROUND!!

I deserve a cookie cause those are two things i always avoid doing the right way. *as i say while the characters above are poorly colored themselves*

Not to mention...i FINALLY posted a Marinrtte/LB Mermaid!

Now...truth be told. Ive been drawing Marinette and Ladybug as mermaids for just as long as ive done Chat Fish drawings.

But you may be asking, if thats so...where are they??

Well you guys see, i have this dilema for me...

This is Chat Noir the Chat fish. Hes cool. Hes cute. Hes basically a naked fish chilling out. No one gives a damn if he wears a shirt or not.

However...
The case is not the same for Mari-maid...

Some people give a real damn if Mari-maid wears a shirt.

But the thing is... IF mermaids were actually real, clothes would be a bad option as in the water, theyd slow the merfolk down as they swam. So technically...theyd be naked!

And sadly for yall who, like Mari, find discomfort of the boob shot in my picture ive been slaving over above... well, as you can see i also like to opt for no clamshell bras.

Now im never gonna have her straight up bare chested! So that leaves my options...

A shirt of some kind, which i hate and we already discussed why its not a good option.

Seaweed/cloth binders, which can look good from a designing aspect but in reality binders can do real damage to lady chests so id prefer avoiding that...

And the option i prefer, and ultimately went with on my above drawing...?

Boobie scales.

Scales that creep over her boobies, and cover the erm... important parts..

Now i really like this plan of action for Mari-maids in both past and furture drawings of her, and its likely what ill keep her as. But i know that even still having some parts covered, she is basically still exposed... so i guess the reason i am going throigh this whole speech is...

Are you guys comfortable with me posting more scaly chested Mari-maid? Or is it too awkward? Just be glad it aint YOU GUYS looking up breast references because your own chest isnt the best reference you've got. 😥

Ill be honest. The BEST cover up ill ever be able to do to please both myself and you guys is the binder option. But like i said...i REALLY like scale chest. But if you guys dont wanna see it...then i will respect that and not post anynore Mari-maid cause i cant stop will not stop drawing her.

OH!! And if any of yall noticed my changed pfp... then you should go check out the end of the second Misfit Oc book. As per my promise, i HAVE been doing art still while i was away! Just...not posting it here for some Satan-beloved reason.
