How to scare your mom and make her loose all faith in you:
Step 1: Go to pottety place
Step 2: make a bad ass dragon skull sculpture
Step 3: take pictures thereof
Step 4: make sure your mom thinks that all you make in art is cute and fluffy (cause thats all you ever show her) and show her pictures of what you made cause your dad made you.
Watch as her mom nearly drops your phone, horror in her eyes as you can see all if her faith in you drain away like water in a strainer! And only to be replaced by utter disappointment!

Its suppised to be an overly complicated knick nack dish/lid so it had an actual use.
Of course, my mom despises when i make anything thats not cute and bubbly. So she didnt like it...
However, my dad DID. And NONE of my art genuinely impresses him. So when he kept trying to persuade me to use the above skull as an incense burner (his latest hobby) i was more than surprised.
His birthday is coming up. And he STILL hasnt shut up about my skull. And since i wanted to sculpt anyways today... i made him his own skull to burn incense in.

It has a "tongue" in the head to hold the incense tablet thing. When lit, the smoke will trail down into the lower jaw, and through the teeth. Itll look awesome not gonna lie. XD
Im worried about it drying and going through the Kiln...but hopefully itll be fine. My surprise was tuined when my dad came to pick me up early from the sculpting place, so he knows about it.
Thankfully, he seems to be incredibly excited! Which is a surprise to me. Cause this is the same guy who wanted me to put my Day of the Dead relief in my room and not in the open cause it was too "morbid" (Spoiler: it wasnt)
But if anyone has any color pallet ideas for the incense burner...PLEASE FEEL FREE TO SHARE. I have no clue how im going to paint it... my dad just wants there to be blue on it.
