Few Days Later
Meek Pov
I walked out my room and went to Nicki's room, i started to knock on the door but instead i went down the hall to my moms room. I knocked on the door
Kathy: come in
I walked in and Nicki was laying on her chest sleep
Meek: she okay
She nodded
Kathy: she just had a rough night last night..
Meek: nightmare
She nodded and i sighed
Meek: you think she need to see a therapist
Kathy: we talked about that yesterday when you went to go play ball with O and em.. She tried to talk to one once.... that didnt work out
I frowned
Kathy: he tried to...
I ran my hands over my face and i sat at the end of the bed, Nicki moved a little and she opened her eyes a little
Meek: wassup
She smiled
Meek: you feeling better
Nicki: yes
Meek: i aint mean to stay out that late
She sat up and shook her head
Nicki: its fine, you can go have fun without me.. sometimes not all the time
I chuckled a little and she smiled. I laid at the bottom of the bed and Nicki got up going in the bathroom. She closed the door and i looked at my mom
Meek: you heard anything
Kathy: not yet, which is actually a good thing.. or im taking it as one
I nodded and I smiled a little
Meek: you finally got your daughter
Kathy: i do, but they trying to take her from me
Meek: nah ma, cause this situation already got me mad as fuck. ion want her to leave either
She smiled a little and wiped her tears. I shook my head, Nicki came out and my mom smiled
Kathy: what we doing today
Nicki shrugged
Meek: we can go to the indoor track and then go out for food
Nicki nodded and i chuckled
Kathy: alright, everybody go get dressed..
Nicki Pov
I ran out the room and grabbed one of my new outfits, i got in the shower and washed up..
Getting out i put on my boyshorts and bra.. I looked down at the scar on my side and frowned, my eyes went to my thighs and i saw the cuts. I walked out the bathroom and got ready

I was in front of Meek and Mama Kathy was in between us, whoever lost had to buy lunch. I pressed on the gas harder and then Meek zoomed past me, i screamed laughing and somebody hit me, i hit the wall and ma zoomed past me too, speeding up i got in front of her and she looked over at me laughing, i looked at the finish line and right before i crossed it Mama Kathy got in front and i was in last place.
We got out and i frowned a bit and they both hugged me... She reached in her purse and handed me a debit card.. It had my name on it and i smiled, i hugged her and she smiled
