A Week Later
Nicki Pov
Judge: Onika is offically yours Ms.Kathy
I smiled hard and i quickly wiped my tears, he got up and came around the table. He shook ma's hand and he reached for mine but i hugged him
Nicki: thank you
He laughed a little and i quickly stepped back
Judge: youre welcome
We left out and once we got out the building i hugged Mama Kathy tight and she hugged me back.We pulled away and we looked at the time
Kathy: you packed up right
Nicki: i just gotta put a few more things in my suitcase
She nodded
Kathy: alright, let me call Meek
She pulled her phone out and right before she could call anybody, somebody was calling her
Kathy: hey, i was just about to call you
We went and got in the car and she pulled off
Kathy: Meek stopping at Chick Fil A, what you want babygirl
Nicki: chicken bites
Kathy: yea get me the same, two lemonades, and get polynesian sauce.. alright, ill see you at home.. alright
Later That Day

Meek pov
Kathy: alright, im going in my room. Yall got yall room key
Ma gave Nicki ne of her room keys, ma grabbed a marker and put a K on it
Kathy: have fun and please be safe
Meek: we will ma
She left and went in her room. Me and Nicki went in our rooms and Nicki knocked on the joint door. I chuckled and opened it
Meek: wassup
Nicki: hey Meek
She giggled and went back in her room. I sat on the bed and i scrolled on IG, Nicki came and sat next to me. She laid her head on my shoulder and i kissed her forehead, she got up and took her jacket off. She went and got her phone, she came back and i frowned
Meek: Nic, come here
She stopped and looked at me, i locked my phone. I got up and pulled her to the bed, i ran my thumb over her side and she flinched a little.
Meek: *softly* Nic what happened?
She looked at me and sighed...
Nicki: when i was with Carol she did this... she was upset that i didnt cook what she wanted to eat
She looked down
Nicki: Meek, i... I just wanna feel loved
Meek: we love you
She look away and i turned her head back.
Meek: i swear we do
She sighed a little and i kissed her lips. She sat in my lap and i wrapped my arms around her
Nicki: *mumbling* Rihmeek.. can you hold me
I nodded
Meek: go change so you can be comfortale
She nodded and went in her room. She changed clothes and i changed into some basketball shorts. She came back and i got under the covers, she got next to me. I wrapped my arms around her
