Two Days Later
Nicki Pov
I walked out the classroom and stood in the hall, waiting on Meek. Candi and O decided to skip today so it was just me, my phone went off and Meek texted me telling me to meet him at the car being that he had to talk to his teacher. I walked to the front of the school and somebody tapped my shoulder, i looked back
??: your Meeks girlfriend right
I nodded and turned back around
??: im Ja'Mil and this is Nova
I nodded and waved a little, she whispered something to Nova and i turned around and i saw Meek, i walked towards him and one of them pulled me back
Nicki: dont.. touch me
Nova: and if i do
I walked away until, i felt my hair being yanked back. I punched whoever pulled my hair and i watched Nova fall to the ground. Ja'Mil came my way until i felt Meek pick me up and turn the other way
Ja'Mil: nah Meek, put that bitch down
Meek: call her out her name again and i am gonna put her down, make sure she beat yo ass
They both stepped back and i shook my head. We went to the car and he sat me on the trunk. He looked at my hand
Meek: damn, we gonna let ma look at it. Otherwise, we gonna take you to the ER
I nodded and he helped me down. I saw the school security walking towards us and i hid behind Meek. He looked in the reflection of the car
Meek: get in the car
I quickly got in the car and he turned around, I watched Meek talk to them and he looked back at me. He came to the car and opened it.
Meek: we gotta go talk to the principle
I nodded and one tired to grab me but Meek moved him
Meek: dont put yo hands on her, she aint going nowhere..
They looked at Meek and then down at me

We walked in the house and ma came around the corner
Kathy: Nicki you okay
I nodded
Kathy: im not understanding why suspended her when she was just defending herself
Meek: ion know but im suspended too
Kathy: for what
Nicki: the security officer kept trying to grip my arm like i was gonna run off, Meek pushed him back..
Kathy: im going up there Monday, its okay
Meek: where Khai
Kathy: sleep
I nodded and ma lifted my hand up.
Kathy: put some ice on it, if the welling doesnt go down then we gonna go to the ER
Nicki: okay
