Everybody walked down the hall with balloons, teddy bears, and chocolate. Candi was even here, she wanted to talk to Nicki so she told her she could come see her at the house. I opened the door and ma came around
Meek: *mouthing* she up?
She nodded and we all walked in.. Nicki smiled when she saw me but when everybody else came around the corner she covered her face..
Omelly: we heard you wasnt feeling good so we came and saw you lil bit
She giggled and wiped her tears
Nicki: oh my gosh
O walked over and hugged her.. She waved at everybody else, Candi came from the back and Nicki smiled
Nicki: your here too
She nodded and Candi gave her a book.
Candi: go to the page i got bookmarked
Nicki flipped to the page
Candi: Pre-K.. remember when we took pictures the first day of school and we had to get in line tallest to shortest, i met you and the boys taller than us messed with us cause we were the smallest two in class. but you were shorter than me
Nicki giggled
Nicki: i had chocolate chip cookies and you had goldfish at snack time, we shared our snacks that day
Candi smiled and nodded
Candi: lived right across the street
Nicki: we were bestfriends until i left 1st grade
Candi nodded and Nicki sighed a little..
Nicki: i kinda owe you an explaination
Candi: not unless you want to
Nicki nodded and the doctor came in
Doctor: you have nice friends... so far everything is good, im signing your discharge papers now and then you can go after you get changed out
Nicki smiled and he left out..
Omelly: alright, Nic we gonna see you later cause we ion wanna crowd you
Kathy: yall can come by tomorrow
He nodded and they started to leave
Candi: ill see you tomorrow too
Nicki: you can come by today

I looked over at mama for approval and she nodded
Candi: how bout this, since tomorrow is Friday. ill come spend Saturday with you, okay
I nodded and she gave me a hug. I smiled and hugged her back
Nicki: your book
She shook her head
Candi: its yours
She walked out and i flipped to he front of the book. I saw my name writing in the book, i smiled

Ma came and sat next to me, i ate my Popeyes and she shook her head
Kathy: you have an addiction Nika
Nicki: i loveee Popeyes ma
She giggled
