Meek Pov
I walked in the house with ma and Khai ran to us crying
Meek: whats wrong
Khai: sissy cryin
I sat the groceries in the kitchen and i ran upstairs, I tried to open Nicki door but it was locked
Meek: Nic
Nicki: leave me alone
Meek: babygirl open the door
She stayed quiet and i sighed. I went downstairs and ma looked at me
Meek: she got the door locked, she not letting me in
She got up and handed me Khai, I wiped his tears and ma went upstairs.
Khai: is sissy better
Meek: mama gonna talk to her
He nodded
Meek: what happened when she stared crying
Khai: she watched her phone
Meek: she was watching a video
He nodded
Khai: she got sad and her started crying.. i gave her hug and she say sorry but she not hurt me
Meek: alright.. we gonna make sissy feel better
He nodded and he laid against my chest.
Kathy Pov
I knocked on the door but i didnt get an answer
Kathy: Nicki, can you open the door for me please
It was quiet
Kathy: i just want to make sure youre okay
I heard movement but it stopped
Kathy: Nika
The door unlocked and i walked in, Nicki was getting back in the bed. I locked the door back and walked over to her, she sniffled and i frowned. I got in the bed with her and she moved to my chest, i rubbed her back
i wiped her tears and she sighed..
Kathy: whats wrong babygirl
She shook her head a little
Kathy: it is cause youre crying
Nicki: *mumbling* i regret not telling.. maybe my baby would still be here
Kathy: Nic, you cant blame yourself.. everything happens for a reason
She looked up at me
Kathy: I didnt believe it either, than i got you. i prayed for my daughter and then CPS told me that they needed a new home for somebody they were moving down here, then we got Khai
I smiled a little and kissed her forehead
Kathy: when God feels you're ready, you'll get pregnant and my grandchild will be healthy and here
She smiled and nodded.
Kathy: i love you NicNic
Nicki: i love you too ma
She sighed and i just held her tighter as she dosed off.
