Claude rolled his black pen along a paper, making no particular pattern on it. Dougie wasn't out of the hospital yet, he'd be in there for another week or two. Doug, Lynn, and Freddie are coming down in a couple days to be beside Dougie almost at every moment of every day. I only hope when I go to see Dougie, I won't run into them.

But for now, I was in Claude's office talking to Claude about Dougie. "Did he remember anything?"

"He remembered things. He didn't remember anything pre-NHL Draft though. He didn't know he made it in the NHL. But I'm not too sure how much he knows either than the past couple years," I explained.

Claude set his pen down on the desk. He leaned back in his chair and looked at me. "How did you get into Dougie's room? Tuukka said he couldn't get in, how could you?"

"You know me, Claude," I smiled, "I have a way with people."

"You have a way with people, Olivia, yes. But you aren't that good that you can get into a hospital room when you aren't authorized to."

I scratched my cheek. "I lied," I admitted.

"If you said anything that could get us sued, I will fire you on the spot," Claude promised me.

"It's nothing like that, I swear," I told Claude. "I... altered my marital status."

"You didn't say you were married to Dougie did you?"

"Of course not!" I yelled. "I am too young to be married! Instead, I said we were engaged."

Claude rolled his eyes while he laughed. "So being married at your age is wrong but being engaged isn't?"

I shrugged my shoulders. "I suppose in my mind I believe is."

"And what are you going to tell Dougie when he hears that you two are engaged?" Claude questioned.

"I already told him. I'm good."

"How did Dougie respond?" Claude inquired.

            "He didn't seem to mind."

            "And?"

"Does there need to be an 'and'?"

"There is always an 'and' afterwards," Claude told me.

"Maybe there isn't one in this story."

"Olivia, there is an 'and' afterwards, isn't there?"

            "Yes."

            "Why won't you tell me?"

            "I don't know," I admitted.

            "Olivia."

"He flirted with me," I revealed.

            "And?"

            "I flirted back."

Claude shook his head and lifted up his pen again. He clicked the end twice. "Olivia, you know just because Dougie lost some of his memory doesn't mean you can take advantage of it. You know what we think about relationships between staff and players."

"It's not an official rule," I reminded him. "I'm the first female that hasn't been married while working with the Bruins. You sort of made it to 'protect me' as you said two years ago."

"Olivia, you may be young but even you know this isn't something you should be doing with Dougie," he told me.

"Claude, you need to answer honestly to my question... Do you know of anything Dougie and I have been through?" I asked him.

He crossed his arms over his chest. "I do not know anything that has happened between you and Dougie. That makes me wonder what's happened between you and Dougie."

            "Long story, not much time-"

            "Olivia?"

I smiled brightly. "Don't fire me... the romance started before he even began playing here. Alright?"

            "I'm waiting," Claude said.

"Dougie and I dated for... nine months. Yes nine months."

"And I didn't know about this at all?" he inquired surprised.

            "I'm that good of a cover-uper," I told him.

"Olivia, this is the reason why I began these weekly sessions with each other," he told me.

"Claude, I know, I'm terrible. I lie, I manipulate, and I do like half my job and get the full pay." He laughed at me. "But I'm trying to be better and not do those things."

            "I have another question."

            "Which is?"

"Does Adam know about your romance with Dougie?"

"I'm certain everyone in Boston knew about it," I exaggerated.

"I may not be the best person for this area of expertise but I can always help you Olivia. And don't worry, although we have that whole agreement, I won't stop giving you full pay," Claude joked.

"That's the only thing you're promising me?"

"I also promise I won't tell anyone else about the whole Olivia and Dougie thing, alright?"

            "Alright."

"I also want one more thing from you, Olivia."

            "Which is?"

"Dougie doesn't remember certain events in his life; he'll need to get his memory back. I'm putting you in charge to retrieve his memory," Claude told me.

"So I'll need to spend lots of time with Dougie?" I inquired.

"You're going to be spending all your time with Dougie," Claude clarified. "He needs to remember our plays, everyone on the team, his personal life."

"So I need to re-hurt him?" I questioned.

Claude nodded slowly. "Sadly yes, you'll have to hurt Dougie all over again."
