Lucius.

He thrashed.
He screamed.
His hands curled around the bed sheets tightly. His body tingling.
'Don't do it' he gasped 'please'
Lucius lifted his hand, bringing it back down in one sharp motion. Draco felt every bit of it. He fell, almost lifeless to the floor. Lucius got up, kicking his large leather coated boot into his sons ribs.

'Draco!' Harry yelled, pushing him side to side 'please wake up' he sobbed.
Draco woke, bolt right up, gasping for breath, holding his hand to his chest and crying.

Harry immediately jumped into action and flung his arms around Draco, rocking him. 'It's alright baby. I'm here. I tried to wake you' he said softly. Draco looked at Harry with tears still streaming down his face and smiled. He rested his head in the crook of his boyfriend neck and continued to cry.

Harry kissed Draco's head and rubbed his back soothingly. 'What were you dreaming of?' Draco just shook his head 'please Dray. It's good to talk about it, we need to talk about it' Draco shifted and laid his head down on Harry's lap. Harry looked down at him, he looked scared...dare he say frightened.

'It was about father. I've been having awful dreams about him' Harry only nodded and ran his hand through Draco's blonde hair, rubbing at certain spots 'it's like..he's hurting me, terribly. Im scared to go back for Christmas. The dreams feel so real. I can feel every punch and kick' Small tears stared leaking out the sides of Draco's eyes.

'Draco. Your father loves you, I know he does. The same goes for your mother. I don't think they can find words to express how much they love you. Please know that' Harry explained, leaning down to kiss Draco softly. He smiled up at the raven haired boy.

'I love you harry. Thank you' he said grabbing Harry's collar and pulling him into another kiss. 'I love you more Draco. Sleep' said Harry quietly, rubbing his hands through Draco's hair till he fell asleep.
