FAITH POV
I groan as I open my eyes. My head was pounding. I sit up and see my parents. My mom was asleep on Jace's shoulder, and Jace was asleep on my mom's head. Memories of last night flood back. I see my clothes on the nightstand, neatly folded i grab my jacket and dig into the pocket. It was a picture of JonBenét. I sigh and crumple it up, stuffing it back into my pocket. A doctor then comes in, waking my parents up to a Starts. "You're awake," he says.
    "Faith," my mother and Jace say at the same time.
     "I just wanted to check up on you, I'll go get some tests," the doctor says.
     "Faith Evangeline Victoria Herondale! What where you thinking! You could've gotten yourself killed in those woods! Brutally murdered!" My mother says. "What on earth were you doing there?!" She asks. I look down at my hands. "Well?!" My mom asks. My mom sighs after I don't respond. "I'm going to go get some food for you...don't think you're off the hook," my mom says as she leaves. After she leaves, Jace sits down in front of me.
      "Faith....why did you go into the woods? I told you it was dangerous....that land isn't secure..." Jace says. His leg kept jumping up and down.
       "Jace...Go to the bathroom..." I say.
       "What?!" He asks. I nod to his jumping leg. Jace sighs and walks out of the room. The doctor came back in with Papers.
       "Ok, so, I'm just going to go through some tests with you," The doctor says. I nod. His pager then goes off. He grabs it and looks at it, he frowns, his phone then rings, he reads whatever text he received."Oh, no...shi...." he closes all the blinds and then closes the door.
       "What's going on?!" I ask startled.
      "We're on lock down, we stay where we are, no one goes in or out of rooms or the hospital." He says.
       "Why?" I ask. He ignores me as he peeks outside the window. I frown at the doctor. "Why?!" I ask.
       "Shh!" The doctor says.
        "If you don't tell me why, I'll scream!" I say angrily.
       "No, no, no...Fine....There's a shooter in the hospital..."

CLARY POV
     As I grab food for me, Jace and Faith, I see Jace walk into the cafeteria. I stare at him in awe. "What are you doing here?!" I ask.
"I got lost looking for the bathroom," Jace says. I sigh and roll my eyes.
"Is Faith Ok?"
"Yes, She's fine..." then, the man next to me gets out of the line.
"Sir, sir you can't leave, we're on lock down," a nurse tells the man that got out of the line. He turns around and raises the gun and shoots her. Everyone breaks up into screams and chaos. The man keeps shooting, Jace pushes me to the floor and covers me with his body, everyone keeps screaming in terror as the man keeps shooting.
"Oh my god.." I say in horror. Jace picks me up.
"We have to get to Faith," Jace says. He hugs me, covering me from any gunshots that may get shot towards us. He hugs me close to him as we run away. We get to the elevator just as the power goes out. "Shit!" Jace curses. We hear footsteps from around the corner. Jace pushes me into a small gap between the elevators and other rooms. Jace has his body against me. His lips so close to mine. I close my eyes and hope to god that he doesn't see us. The footsteps stop. I tighten my grip on Jace. Then the footsteps continue. I let out a small breath of relief.

FAITH POV
A woman suddenly comes into the room. "He's Here!" The woman says.
"Who's here?!" The doctor asks.
"The shooter! He's in this floor!" The woman says. She had brown hair, and she was short. The doctor goes to the window on the door and looks through it. I hear gunshots. He gasps lightly.
"Dammit dammit dammit!" The doctor says.
"Jason...what do we do?!" The woman asks.
"I don't know Lia..." the door then slams open. I jump away as I see the man. He looked old. Lia and Jason backed up into the wall.
"D-don't hurt her, she's just a child!" Lia says. She was shaking in fear. The man looks at me as if just noticing me.
"Angela," he says.
"Wh-what?" I ask.
"Oh Angie...Angie, i thought i'd never see you again," He says. He walks up to me in a few strides. "Don't worry Angie, Angie my baby, they will pay...every last one of them for what they did to you," he then walks away from me. He raises his gun and points it at Jason. "Are you a surgeon?" He asks. As he notices his surgical cap.
"Y-y-yes sir," Jason says. The man's face turns into disgust. He then shoots Jason's forehead. I cover my mouth as Jason falls to the ground. Lia cries out Jason's name. The man then walks up to me and grabbed me, he carried me up and put me to his side.
"It's ok Angie, daddy's got you," I was shaking in fear. Tears flowing down my cheeks.
"No! Don't touch her! She's just a child!" Lia yells as she walks up to him. She tries to grab me.
"How dare you try and take my daughter away from me again!" He yells and shoots Lia's throat. Sobs burst out of me as I see Lia fall to the ground. The man tries to soothe me, yet fails for obvious reasons. I cringe at his touch. "There there Angie baby, they will pay, all of them, they will all pay...Angie baby, I don't want to get hurt, so if I threaten to hurt you, just know that daddy just wants us to be safe...ok?" Tears keep flowing down my eyes. "Let's go Ángela," he says and walks out of the room.
