DISCLAIMER: I OWN NOTHING
FAITH POV
"Over my dead body!" I yank River as I run to the door. I open it as I hear gunshots. I close the door and glance behind me to check if River was ok. I run with him out of the house I stop right before the steep slope that separated my house from this one. "You ready?" I ask.
"Yeah," River squeaked. I then run down the hill with him. My hand never letting go of his. Until I trip. I fall and start rolling down the hill with River. First he was on top of me and then I was on top of him. We kept switching off until we landed on the ground. I was on top of him. I sit up, only for my hair to be in the way. I pull it back and look down at River.
"Are you ok?" I ask.
"Um...yeah...the rocks just digged into my back..." River says. "But you're bleeding..." River says as he looks to my left fore arm. I look at my arm and see the short sleeve ripped with a deep scratch, blood gushing down my arm. I guess I hadn't really noticed it until now. Adrenaline was still rushing in me...I knew that when it stopped it would hurt.
"Faith?" I hear someone ask. I look to my right and see Oliver standing there.

CLARY POV
Jace and I were going home. We hadn't found out anything about Faith. I was so nervous. Yes, Faith is strong but...she's just a little girl...my little girl...and I can't stand the fact that someone took my little girl. I was so conflicted with Rage and sadness and stress and desperation. I didn't know what to say or what to do. I was just so overwhelmed with emotions I looked numb on the outside. I don't even know how I'm going to continue doing normal things! How can I when Faith is missing?! When I can't see her come down the stairs half asleep ready for school? Or when I can't tuck her into bed and kiss her forehead? Jace and I walk inside the house. I take off my coat, suddenly feeling hot with all the desperation of not knowing where Faith was. I always knew where she was. Call me a helicopter parent or over protective....but she's only eight! She's a high school student and she's technically famous. And she has targets on her back due to all the money we have. Jace and I walk in to the living room only to have relief spread over me like a cold wash cloth covering a small fire as it puts it out. Faith was standing in the middle of the living room. Everything else was irrelevant. I ran to her and hugged her. She smelled like soil, grass and rosemary.
"Oh my god! Where were you?! Your dad and I have been looking everywhere for you!" I yell at Faith as I hug her.
