FAITH POV
"Faith, you should go downstairs, you're ten minutes late!" Rosemary says. I nod and quickly hop down the stairs. The living room was now a full blown party. Food were on tables. Women had beautiful dresses, men had tux's., including my dad. I hopped down the stairs. My dad saw me and walked towards me.
"There you are," My dad says as he picked me up. "You look Beautiful," i smile at him and giggle. He puts me down and grabs my hand. He goes back to the circle of men he was talking to. "Faith, this is Mr.Jacobson, Mr.Torres, Mr.Clover and mr.Soto," my dad says. I smile shyly at them. They all smile kindly at me. Except Mr.Clover. He took a sip of his champagne as he looked at me. I lean into my daddy and whisper into his ear.
"I'm hungry, I'm gonna go get some food," i then hop out of the chair and walk towards the food table. I lost my dad's group in the sea of people. I find the food table. I grab a plate and get some food. I see a woman asking people for something. I leave my plate at the edge of my table and go up to the lady.
"Can I help you with something?" I ask politely. She looks down at me, her brown eyes warm up.
"Do you perhaps know where I could find Jace Herondale Or Clarissa Fray? I need to talk to them about a school enrollment for their daughter Faith," I smile at her warmly and point to the direction of where I last saw daddy.  "Thank you," she says as she walks towards daddy. I grab my plate and go to a quiet place. All the people here was getting a bit overwhelming. I go outside and sit down on the floor. It was already dark, and the yellow light made my pink dress turn an orange color.
"No! He didn't tell me! I found out by the news!" A woman says angrily as she paces around. She had blonde hair that was turning a bit white. She had a black dress with a fluffy coat.  "I haven't seen her! No! Of course not! I don't watch TV Imogene!" The woman says. "I'll talk to you later," The woman says angrily and walks inside the house. I shrug it off and keep eating my food outside.

JACE POV
Faith left to go get some food. I kept talking to Travis Soto, he was the most important person to talk to. We were really getting along. Which is really good. "I have to go take care of some...needs," Stuart Clover says. I nod and look back to Soto.
"So, your wife, or girlfriend, Clary? What is she exactly?" Soto asks. I love clary, and I want her to be mine, publicly, But I also don't want her to be only a stay at home mother, or for her to only work at my company, I want her to be able to get other jobs, leave the doors open, her options optional. I shrug as if she meant nothing.
"Clary's just...." The words stop as I see red at the top of the stairs. It was Clary. She had a beautiful black dress that hugged her body with  black heels.

   She looked gorgeous

She looked gorgeous. She walked down the stairs. My jaw was on the floor as I saw her. She walked over to me with a relaxed smile. I look back at Soto. "She's my girlfriend, but I'm thinking of proposing to her," i say before Clary can get in hearing range. Soto smiled brightly, he was a good man.
"Well Herondale, it looks like you've scored a deal, come to Verona with my family tomorrow, to finalize a few details,"Soto says. Clary comes up to me. "Hello Mrs. Fray...i hope you don't mind, but I must leave to be with my family, I hope you have a wonderful evening," Soto says.
      "You too...."
"Travis, Soto," Soto says. Clary nods as Travis walks away with Jacobson and mr. Torres.
"Jace Herondale!" I hear someone say. I look down to see a short woman with brown eyes and black hair. "I'm Tracy from Graystone Academy, I'm here to talk about Faith's enrollment," Tracy says.
"Of course," I say as I look at Clary. She smiles at me and grabs my hand happily.

FAITH POV
I had finished my food and was eating desert. Since I didn't eat lunch, I thought I could have more desert than usual, plus, my parents can't stop me, they're planning out my enrollment. I smile as I eat more of my chocolate. Mr.Clover then comes out of the party. He opened the glass door, making the party music louder, then he closed it, silencing the music and the people. "You're Faith right?" Mr.Clover asks.
"Yes, i am," I say shyly. He looked down at me. He had a predatory look in his eyes. It scared me. I want my mom and dad. I start to get up. I throw the paper plate in the trash can. "I think I'm going to go back inside," I whisper as I try to go to the door, but Mr. Clover blocked the way. "excuse me Sir, Can i please pass through." I say, i don't ask. I want to get out of here. He hums lightly.
"Sir...i like the sound of that." Fear shoots up into my veins. I step back slowly. I then look up at Mr.Clover. The look on his face screamed dangerous. I try to break into a run, but instead He picks me up from my waist and pins me to the wall. He kisses my neck, my neck felt as if it were on fire, as if you had put acid on it. Tears were flowing out by now, tears of fear and anger and frustration.
"Get off of me! Please! Get off!" I say as I try to kick him.
"Ah, ah, ah, be a good girl, or I'll have to make this painful," Mr.Clover says. I let out a sob of desperation. Why does this keep happening?!
