Monday Lunchtime-Riverdale High, Cafeteria
''Why did you have to say what you did to that little pretty boy Friar? Now he's probably more intrigued that he is repulsed by the two of us.''
Shuffling around the 'crap' they call food with their metal forks. Their fellow students were repulsed by them. This caused them to be excluded to a secluded area in the corner of the cafeteria.
''I did what I had to do, alright, Snake?''
Snake, whose real name is, Eric Beauregard, is a fellow Serpent, his parents abandoned him at the tender age of 8. He was left to fend for himself, the Serpents taking him in as one of their own. Spending almost every night at the Jones household or on the Subway trains. Like an older brother figure to Riley as he is a year older.
''His mother has a connection to the Serpents, alright? She has something that we want. And I know just how we're gonna get it. I just need you to trust me on this one, 'kay?''
Scanning the cafeteria as all eyes fall on the Friar brothers. Girls drooling over them, boys envying them.
''How are we possibly going to get a piece of them? There are girls drooling all over them and they'll probably be on the football team before you know it. How do we even know that he'll be dumb enough to agree to help us?''
All orbs transfer their attention towards the brunette as her gaze lingers on the trio of brothers. Concocting a master scheme of her own, although there are many flaws standing in her way.
''Well you dumbasses clearly aren't bright enough think that maybe I could twist the manipulation knife, ever so delicately. Maybe I could use a little bit of southern charm. You know what they say, keep your friends close, and your enemies closer.''
A deathly, hollowing silence trances through the cafeteria. A cinematic slow-motion effect as Maya Hart and her best friend/minion, Missy Bradford lingers behind her. Cleavage out on display for all the boys to fawn over.
Despite her unapproachable aura, the pair seems to have a tendency to interfere with the go-about of her personal life. Reflecting that once the trio were once the best of friends.
''Aww, look, Missy, if it isn't little Miss Riley Jones, everybody touches her but nobody wants her''
Their friendship, a distant memory, the trio once with a relationship that was envied by others. Although the scenario that took place between Tyler McGregory and Riley in their Freshman Year strained their relationships with one and other.
''Well hon, if it isn't the fuck fairies finally gracing us with their presence after getting laid in the janitors closet. If I'm such a slut as you say I am, then why are you such a whore? ''
Missy's piercingly pitchy voice, deafening everybody within a 5-mile earshot. Everybody too frightened to stand up for the Serpents for the fear of being iced out by everybody else.
''At least I can get laid, however, from what I understand, you were born on a highway. That must be why you must be the way that you are. Cos' to be frankly honest with you, that's where most accidents take place. Isn't that right? Your father, the leader of a drug gang and your mother not even bothering to stick around, abandoning you because she couldn't stand your ignorance any longer.''
The Bradford's, a well-established family, Missy, maintaining her Queen Bee status the moment she entered Riverdale High.
''After all these years, Missy, I'm glad to see that you're still not letting your chance at a well-earned education get in the way of your clear-cut ignorance.''
Twirling around, exiting the cafeteria, leaving a stunned Missy behind. Retrieving her blueberry and kiwi smoothie, raising Missy attention back towards her once again.
''Well, there's just one last thing I need to say to you, is your ass jealous of the amount of shit that just came out of your mouth?''
Removing the lid, allowing the sticky remains to trickle down the bratty brunette's long locks.
''Au revoir, bitches''
