Friar Household-Continuation...
''Are you saying what I think you're saying, Riles?''
She reaches into a drawer in the kitchen. Retrieving a sonogram with a little bubba as the star. As well as the words Can't wait to see you in 6 months, Daddy! Inscribed on the back.
''Your gonna be a daddy again, Luke. I'm thinking that our little boy or girl could walk down the aisle with their big brother Alex. I know that this may push the wedding date back a bit but...''
Resting her hand on her small bump, grazing her thumb.
''Are you kidding me, Riles? This is amazing! I can't wait to have another little Riley running around. Because, if this baby is anything like you, it'll be perfect.''
Lifting Riley into his arms and spinning her in circles. Her loud giggles alert their son who races through with the dog to the commotion.
''What's going on?''
Once the pair comes back down to earth, they take the little boy by the hands and towards the couch.
''Buddy, there's something that Momma and I would like to tell you''
Alex listens to his parents tentatively, wonder plastered across his face.
''I'm going to have a baby. You're going to be a big brother''
Wrapping his tiny arms around his mother. Whispering to the growing baby inside his mother's belly.
''Hi little baby. I'm gonna be the best big brother to you in the whole wide world, I promise''
Kissing Riley's small bump, Alex prompts himself onto his mother's lap. Adoring her son as he interacts with the growing baby.
''I know you're gonna be the best brother ever Alex''
The doorbell rings separating the family from their current celebratory behaviour.
''Merry Christmas Friar family!''
Missy and Maya walk through the entrance, Missy, lunging towards her godson.
''MIMI!''
Taking the toddler into her arms and pressing a thousand kisses onto his cheeks.
''Can you go show me all of your toys, Bubba?''
The little boy takes Missy's hand and leads the pair towards his toys in front of the Christmas tree.
''Momma and Daddy got me a puppy!''
The little puppy rests peacefully in Alex's lap as the little boy strokes his fur relaxingly.
''They did?! It's adorable!''
The looks on at their son with his godmother and they couldn't ask for more. It truly is
The best Christmas ever
