Prologue

Well this has been a long time coming. But Lindsay, Matthias, Donny, and company been waiting so long and here it is. Sorry for the wait. This is a setup chapter going into chapter one. Trying a different approach.

I guess it's funny when you see a guy like me going to up until recent was an all girls school known as Kuoh Academy. At first thought people on the outside might say I don't fit in. Maybe it's because I don't fit in. If you know Issei or mostly the others guys a pervert. Or I had two or three even ask if I'm gay. Yeah. Haha. Funny but no. None of the above. It's actually because I'm a Devil.

Now I have human parents. They're good ones. I have both good to me and have my trust too. Not the rebellious type so they have no reason to. No drama at all and what's nice is I'm an only child so no way I can get into trouble. Siblings are trouble let's me honest. From what I've seen at least.

It's weird. At first I never had a single clue that I had some sort of what they would describe as power. You would think by the time you have reached highschool you would have been blown away and found it by now. As most way we all think. But their is sometimes when someone says don't walk out at night they are sincere of your safety. In this town it's not known for crime or violence. Just creatures. Creatures, with black wings. If not for my kind Master I wouldn't be standing here. But as fate tells us, everything happens for a reason and it won't give us a challenge we can't handle.

It's a school night and you had a project due with your friend who partnered up. Parents not wanting out too late on a school night but gave you the nod. Agreeing to it you stuffed your school bag and a backpack in case you spent the night. The plan was to get it done in one night or two and have the weekend and next week free. You finished research and it was barely dark when you set off for your partner's house.

Things didn't seem spooky, scary nerve racking or any of the sort at night. Least from your prospective of being in the area your whole life. But tonight was different. Going through a park the swings creaked super loudly. It screeched and triggered the laid back state of mind. Strike one. The sun was about down on your right. Yet on your left no moon and no stars on a clear evening. Strike two. Then if that wasn't enough it was a calm day and you had this rush from an uncomfortable wind.

"Okay dammit something isn't right. Is God trying to tell me something? Because it's royally pissing me off. I got work to do." You huffed.

"Well well well. What do we have here. Are you the one I'm looking for?" Said a man.

"I'm just taking a shortcut to a study partner. But the weather just sucks I guess. By all means carry on." Trying to be kind here and mind your damn business.

"You have what I want. Are you going to hand it over or am I going to beat it out of you?" He cracked his knuckles.

"My notes?" You asked. So lost here.

"Alright wise guy." His hood came down revealing green eyes and a scar by his left temple. Then in his hands a strange unidentifed mass. A light of a blackish-purple start to form and you saw his cloak drop revealing large raven wings.

"What the hell are you? A demon? A Devil?" You gasped.

"Fallen one. Any last words?"

"Hey man! What did I do?" You cried. "I just want to go home and get back to being a normal guy. Honest."

He smirked. "You know kid it's not you I'm after. Shame. You seem like a good kid. Unfortunately you know what they say about nice guys. Right? Say goodnight." He hurled his spear.

Closing your eyes and body frozen in fear it impaled your right chest and you hit the floor. Struggling and feeling numb you lay there. Guess this is it.

"You should be dead by now." The man huffed.

"I... have... purpose." You coughed blood.

"Being my tool once you bleed out." He chuckled.

"Akeno now!" Shouted a voice.

"What. YAAAAAAA!" The man got toasted by a few jolts of electricity. "Who the?" He panted.

"We're the Gremory House. Who exactly are you?" Asked a red haired girl.

"Gremory?" It hit him quickly as his eyes grew. "The Devil King?" He asked.

"His sister. Wish to join the afterlife?" She threatened.

"I should g; GAAAAAAAAHHHHH!" He got toasted by more lightning.

"Go? After attacking the innocent on this territory? Not on my watch. Game over." She charged up a red flame in her hand and used it to blast him away to ashes. Black feathers scattered across the air.

One of those black feathers landed on your shoulder. "Guess I'm ne..." You pass out.

"Asia!" Shouted the leader of the group.

"On it Rias." The blonde rushed over to you and a green aura glowed over your torso. "He's pretty bad. This is going to be a minute or two."

Rias sighed. "By all means don't rush. He has a lot to be told." She shook her head.

"Do you have a piece for him?" Asked Issei.

"Well Issei when we get to the manor I'll sit at my office for a bit. I have much to think about and I want to fill him in before I spring everything onto him. Though I feel pretty bad his back is against the wall. Poor boy is shy. Has to be something else behind what meets the eye. Besides his power of course.

Well guys I am constructing a new plan going forward. Note he is not a Devil at the end. Then it will go into how he possesses something. A Gear? A sword? What? Leave your thoughts and concerns down below.
