Ch 10 - Friend Status

So after the tea party is she going to lighten up a bit? Sure as heck hope so. Though the Loli bundle of chaos probably has her own agenda.

Ravel took another sip and put it down. "Thank you for everything. You have any pacts to get around to?"

"It's been kind of slow at the moment." Replied Rias.

"Seems that way for everyone else. So what's everyone planning on?"

"Hitting the books probably." You sighed.

"Hey. I didn't ask you." 

"Sorry there, Princess." You shake your head.

"Can you pass it over. I'm having another."

"Sure thing." You pass the teapot over and just hope this isn't going to be a finger pointing contest. Trying to be friendly and all but there was just something. Rias and Akeno seemed more straight forward. Asia and Koneko were closed off about their feelings sometimes and then it came to thought that she's worse than Xenovia. Granted that woman is just confused and needs to learn. But she don't sass and  reject people. More open. Shirley friggin Temple over here doesn't know what she wants. 

"Thank you." She looked away. Though from her reaction one would think she really had to say something. Guess not this time around.

"(FN) is not wrong. School work is something we do at least once a week to make sure we aren't behind on anything. Mathematics and essays seem to be the favorites in those. But we're all family here. And this boy is new but very graceful." Rias had your back here.

"Really now?" Pondered Ravel.

"Didn't you try to lend him a hand? He much to learn as a Devil but at the heart a good boy."

What the heck...

"I'm sorry. You've been," She blushed ever so slightly. "Sweet to me. Okay I said it."

"Thank you. And you've been kind to show gratitude."

"What for? I've been mean. What are you doing?" She complained.

"Well, what do you want from me? You think I'm just going to tell off some pretty girl? I'm better than that."

"You wouldn't do that?" She was just confused.

"Even though you deserve it." Grumbled Koneko.

"Dragon?" Ravel tried to see if Issei had any input.

"I'm out of this one Blondie." He waved off.

"Well, I don't know how it means (FN), but I'll help you if you need it. Okay."

"Ravel exactly what does that mean? Want to study together? What's the case here?"

Blushing and eyes shut. "Friends?"

"Sure." You take a sip of tea.

"Huh?" She seemed to be shocked that you actually said yes.

"You know when you give someone a yes or no answer you should expect any reply. Just saying."

"Sorry..." This whole time being here for tea wasn't her brightest moment.

"Now who's apologizing." You chuckle.

"Hmph. Jerk."

Least that was done and over with. New day came and it was still about recognizing your schedule. Though no more stairs and walking. Next you might actually see panties, find a girl worse, or potentially get smacked. Not good things really. What still was in effect is since this is your first week you are still considered the new kid. As some girls found out. Not many boy transfer students that came in they found per say attractive.

"Hey new boy. Where you heading." Asked a girl.

You turned around. "Language."

"Well now. Me too. Can I speak my mind and say not many boys come here?" Her friend said behind her.

"I got that part. Good or bad thing for you two?" Just go along with conversation. No harm done there.

"Depends. I see many pervs here and I like to find a guy outside of school mostly. But knowing how he acts in school gives me an ideal image on how it would go."

"Does sound like a good idea. Though are you looking for something in particular or just winging it?" The problem is you haven't realized all these girls are like the ones you live with. They seem more airheaded and ditsy.

"Excuse me, I'm a good girl, when I want to be. Hehe."

These two a little on the dumb blonde side and not bad looking. Making conversation wasn't bad. Rias and Akeno recommended it to you. Would a little flirt by accident or intentional hurt? Who knows if they would make the time again.

"Define that?" You smirked.

"I like cuddles and movie time."

"I like cake and long walks."

"And I want you two to back off!" Firmly said a voice.

Wait is that her...

"Hey aren't you kind of new too?" Asked one of the girls.

"And?" Said the voice.

"What's the big deal?" One complained.

"Off!" She barked.

"Fine. Later boy."

"See ya I guess."

You watched the two girls turn and walk away and then over your shoulder see Ravel hugging onto your arm. "Morning?"

"Causing trouble already?" She looked up at you.

"I don't understand. I was just talking. So wrong?" Trying to level with her and see what you can get out of her.

"They're no good. Hussies."

"I didn't even get that far. I was talking for a minute. You had them walk in a second. They really that bad Ravel?"

"Well it's just that I," She's blushing yet again. "I don't want you wasting your time."

"Like the girls from the mall when I went shopping. Right. Are all girls snappy and quick to judge?"

"Uh!" She gasped. "That a stereotype?"

"No. Just seem to get a good amount of it lately with some exceptions."

"Well you're not a pig I found out. You're sweet." Squeezing more of the hug. "You're comfy."

"This a standing cuddle?"

"Maybe?" She giggled.

"This is actually quite nice. So what are you up to?"

"Forget that. Can I ask Rias if we can go shopping later? I need a tank top."

"Go for it."

"Yay."

"Uhhh, Ravel?" You look down at your arm almost in her cleavage.

"Pervert." She whispered. "See you around." Ravel let go and proceeded to head down the hallway. Looking back and winking at you. Really rocking that skirt with those legs and curves.

Seriously. What, is going, on?

Denial, sass, cockblock, take you shopping. Anyone get the picture that some of us will never understand women? Logic isn't always commendable. Look here. She went from bitchy to clingy in a day span. What will Rias think?
