Ch 12 - Love For Sale

First date shopping. Well I don't think Ravel would kick you hard in the stomach like Houki did to Ichika (Infinite Stratos). But this should be an interesting one.

You held Ravel all the way to the shopping mall. More like clinged to your arm the whole way. It was quick getting there and now just deciding on where to go. She had several places to be.

"Where first?" She asked you.

"I don't know where you shop. Wrong asking me."

She waved that off. "Oh don't worry Hun, you'll learn a thing or two today. Much more than that if you pay attention. Off we go." She grabbed your hand and pulled you.

Some people thought it was cute seeing two highschoolers go shopping for one. Then you have the fact apparantly she needs a boy's opinion and take on things. Does she want details or a simple yes or no? Then what is she shopping for first?

"So what first?" You ask trying not to be literally dragged along.

"Do you go shirt first or shoes first?" She asked while doing through one of the department stores.

"I'm not a giant shoe guy. So probably the top first." (I got a skate shoe collection going for investment purposes.)

"You don't like shoes?" She gasped.

"I guess I'm a simple guy. I don't have anything that really stands out. I'm sure you have dresses and skirts that really make you stand out. Am I wrong?"

She giggled. "You realized I'm not too much of a pants girl?"

"Uhhh, wouldn't know..." Trying to leave that one alone.

"Yoga pants on a cold night. That's about it."

"Gowns to bed?"

"Always Hun." She winked at you. "So maybe I'll find that tank top first before I find some nice shoes and to fill you in on this. Okay?"

"Yeah yeah. Go for it."

"Hehe. It's my first time shopping with a boy by myself."

"Well Ravel I've never been shopping with a girl alone until recent. With Rias and that was when I met up a girl that thought I was poor excuse of something."

She shook her head. "Well don't look down on yourself."

"Try not to. I was just talking to her. Seems that she didn't like my honest answers of not knowing what to do after highschool. That bad? I just became a Devil. I'm worried about .y adjustments if anything."

She stopped to hug you. "Outside magic  and flying you're the same. You hear me? The same." Not some ordinary hug. A cold shiver and rapidly got warm.

"Now just got to get good at it. And with the warm weather coming soon it's going to be great."

Ravel was delighted. "Yay. But wait while we're here I need to pick a swimsuit before the good ones get taken."

Oh my lanta is this really happening?

"Good thing you're here Hun. One at a time now." She grabbed your hand again and went through the racks. The display kind... finding the tank top her size in a black and a white and then moving onward.

"Let me hold those." You offered reaching a hand.

"Oh you're a life saver." You held the two hangers as the search kept going. It was going to be an intense search. This wasn't like Rias. She had one thing in mind to shop for. Took five items and bought two. So far she's got tank tops, shoes, swimsuits, and most likely something to match all of the above. This was not in and out and grab food type of deal. You were on her time. And long was her time? To be determined of course.
