Riser is concerning. But Ruval wants to friendly chat. What's to make of it?

You and Ravel sat by the brother Ruval Phenex at this bar as he poured his sister a Shirley Temple and you a matcha tea. Now, to talk about what just happened. Riser took two bottles of sake and took off to his room. The two brothers bumped heads.

"Ever since he's been like this?" Asked Ravel.

"Basically. The principals of losing never fly right to him." He nodded.

"So what exactly happened?" You ask him.

"Issei challenged Riser to a battle. If he won Rias would no longer be his fiance. Riser lost. And with that has hit a depression state. Drinking a lot, not leaving his room for long periods of time, and not only does he not look himself, he smells unmanly."

"Unmanly?"

"Cheap cologne and pig's anus. It's why I told him to bathe. Eating and heavy drinking in bed with women going in and out of his room is surely the cause." Ruval sighed. Being on duty taking care of his brother was not an exciting task. Instead it was daunting.

"I see..."

"Better conversation, how did you and my sister meet?" He smiled.

"Well, I attend Kuoh Academy as well. I'm in the Gremory peerage. We actually met under awkward circumstances. I was looking at my schedule while I was in the stairwell and accidentally bumped into her. I said sorry and was staring at her blonde hair and she thought I was looking up her skirt. Then after she left in a huff I met her while she was talking to Rias the same day. It's just been good ever since."

Ruval chuckled. "Is that so Ravel?"

"Well after a few talks and such we have gotten close and I met his parents and here we are. I've been dying for you to meet (FN). Riser both of us were rather nervous about it." Ravel smiled at the two of you.

"Well it is my pleasure to meet him. Especially someone to put up with her."

"Hey!"

"Ravel, you know how it goes. Did you not ask him a ton of questions and sass him nearly to death when you met in the stairwell?" Ruval smirked.

"Noted..." She blushed.

"I rest my case. And I take it your other relationships with people are rather slow at times?"

"Koneko calls her Chicken and variations of that." You pointed out. 

"Some spirited people with that House. Though I guess you can call yourself talent relations since you're dating my sister."

"Guess you're right Ruval. It's only been a few weeks but love where this is going. I know this is our first time meeting, but I do truly care about her."

"So this is a serious relationship. I got it. Can't say I'm surprised that my sister found a boy she liked, just wasn't sure about the whole thing. Not sure if she would just date or take on anything so serious. But my thoughts is this isn't going anywhere. That's why I've met you. Correct?" He looked over at his sister.

"I hope not." She hugged you.

"From that hug that's a yes. Well hope I can be here for moral support. I'm sure I can help both of you at some point down the line."

"Brother! Come on." Ravel clinged to your arm. "Yes. Okay I love him. But let's just hold off before mother and father get back."

"They're actually tackling some business right now. It will be a while. Not even sure if today would be the day. And if so, I can always sneak you out of here and tell them Riser scared you off with his mouth. They'll believe it." He winked at you.

"What do we have here." Said a voice.

Don't tell me that's her mother and Ravel can't get away now. You turn your head to see a woman with purplish maroon hair and a racy dress. "Hello..."

"Greetings. And you are?" She asked.

"(FN)."

"I see you're the man stealing the Phenex daughter's heart."

"Stealing?" You pondered. Is that the right word to use for it? Stealing of all things. Protecting? Worshipping? Of all things crazy?

Then four more girls came in behind her. Two cat girls with blue and red hair in skimpy tops and two girls with long black maid dresses. Who were these five and what the heck were they doing here? They with Ruval? Your girlfriend?

"Nya." Chimed the two nekos. "Does Master have a new friend?" They asked.

"Ni, Li, this is Ravel's boyfriend. He kind to him." Ordered Ruval. "Riser is sulking in his room drinking."

The two maids and that first woman follow the cheer some cats over towards the other side of the room. Though that woman who gave the half introduction turned around after walking halfway to the door to give a wink. Who that was for could be anyone's guess. Though concerning if it was over in your direction.

"Members of his House. The Queen who you first met and half of his Pawns."

"Right. Got it. Anyone else showing up? They having a meeting or something or just being a good Devil and trying to make their Master crack a smile or two?"

Ruval took a gulp and put his glass down. "Porking for all I know."

"Great..."

"Brother!" Blushed Ravel. "Just why?"

"Only warning him." He shrugged his shoulders.

"Men want one thing and it's disgusting." She pouted.

"Yeah. Fable 3 sucked."

"Huh?" Ravel was just so lost.

"Nevertheless that's not important. Although, I have no input on if he was lying or not, but Riser actually wanted to celebrate your first boyfriend a while back. Not sure if he remembers. He wanted us two and the boyfriend to hangout for a while as just men. And I return your lover in the matter of hours in one piece back the way he came. Though that idiot can't remember his own thoughts." Ruval sighed. "Shall I remind him?"

"Rav-"

"Hun it's fine. You'd be with Ruval. I trust him." She kissed you. "And I trust you because we're lovers. But you know what I want for the two of us. Just please be well."

"So Ruval is reminding Riser of this guy time? Okay..." Why does this sound odd? Ruval runs the show, but why does it seem off? Any chance Riser is coming out of his depression to have guy time? Arcade, grab dinner out, a movie, or whatever? Doesn't seem quite likely.

"I shall fetch him. Allow me to knock on my brother's door. I shall return." Ruval got up from his bar stool and walked over to the door going into Riser's chambers. Knocking before entering. Though he was in for a sight for sore eyes...
