Ch 7 - Light Pumping

Workout with Rias and then hot spring and be ready to be the new transfer student. That's a first. Oh boy. Anything else to add?

Getting home Rias was readjusting her closet as you got changed into a light hoodie and some shorts. It's go time before a shower and some chillax to rest up before sleeping early and day one of the transfer. Things are starting to look really good. Though after that chemistry issue with Cat it's time to leave that behind. Can't mentally get though this if you're not able to focus.

Rias came in and walked you down. "So feeling better?"

"Yeah." You shake your head with a smile. "You said to try it out and I was attempting. But I thought about. I didn't even make it back to the clothing racks. Man I saved a lot of time if she's petty like that."

"Well to be honest with you, all girls are. Depends on if they like you, insecurities, and then of course who they are as a person. Some are full of themselves and don't make exceptions. Many don't mean it. The level of sass and tone in her voice maybe having her upset but she might still care."

"Like if I'm a few minutes late will she not talk to me?"

"That's the thing. Not always but I can't say never. It's just how it goes. Part of the game."

"Geez Rias, I never played the game. Sounds scary now. Some chick going to gash my eyes out because I'm talking to a girl? Rias. Look at yourself. Do I have to tell you? Akeno, Asia, Xenovia, Koneko. Do I have to spell it out? I try to grab a date, she looks at you, and thinks what are her chances?"

Rias sighed. "I hope not."

"Well then. Shall we? What's first?"

"Hello besty and cutie." Akeno entered the room with a tank top and yoga pants. "He doing cardio with me?"

You blush. "Y-ya see? That."

No words from Rias. "I'll do my best. But if she is into you she will realize it. Plus is it like I coddle you and give you comfort?"

"Not in public."

"Good. So you and Akeno are just going to jog a mile to warm up and go from there."

"Uhh-kay?" You look over at Akeno.

"You want us to work ourselves, sweat madly, and breath heavy? Then let's go jogging." Akeno teased.

My heart might give out. I will never be able to handle her. Wow.

"I can teach you sweety."

"Akeno let him breath." Warned Rias.

"Well I can mentor too right?" Asked Akeno.

"No private sessions. Anyways I have paperwork. See you two then. And no showering together! You hear me? He's not a pervert."

She is right. Showering with me and then finding a girlfriend might give off the wrong impression. No dirty girls.

(As my would say, "Remember this. Two rules. Don't bring her home is she's not sticking around and no jagawdys. Jagawdys is an Italian term for whores.)

"Guess we start?" You ask.

"Yeah."

A slow two hours goes by. A few couple two minute rests here and there. A jog, good amount of stretching, then core. Solid. Not a bad day's work. Mellow as Rias said.

"You go first. I'm just going to take time to think."

"Alright. I went in the spring this morning so after you shower it's all yours."

"Okay."

With a cold towel over your neck it was just a few minutes to gather your thoughts. Sitting down on the gym floor and thinking about today as a whole. To think I get to jump into those springs that I saw in movies. Better yet the shower I'm about to hop into has the rainfall showerhead that is a meter in diameter with side jets. Then a king sized bed. Hard to be homesick with things being very comfortable. Though I have many questions. Mostly about fighting. I know I'm training for a reason. And it's not to find a girlfriend. Will I be killing the guy who was after me? Does he have someone stronger than him? Then this thing that appears on my wrist. It can suck power.

"I have many questions and not many answers myself." Xenovia walked in.

"Hi-ya. Like what?"

"Well originally I worked for the church. I thought I needed purpose and Rias gave me the opportunity. Most questions I do not have answers to. But I know I have done well and accomplished much. I can happily say that one."

"Guess it's my chapter now isn't it? Time for me to step up. Forget making parents proud. Time for me to do my own thing."

"You are very fortunate (FN). The closest mother I have had is Rias or a leader of the church at the time."

"Seems like fate will have an insane twist with me. Though thank you for all the girls being nice. It helps."

"That it does. Go ahead and relax. Clear that mind. Just take it day to day.  All you can do. Answers come with patience. To this day I still wait."

"Gotcha." Though, I wonder what else is the story for everyone? Kiba can't be all dreamy. Akeno with that very flirty personality might have something. Xenovia was an orphan. Sounds like I have it great over here. Now I just have to adapt and work with it. Though how does all of this work? Guess I'll find out.
