Ch 31 - Slapping

Ravel is about to lay it down. It's bad enough that Akeno grabbed you personally.

And here you are. Ravel is in this emotional state where she is just angry. You are next to Akeno and everyone and your girlfriend is just watching this go down. Meanwhile there is another summoning circle in the dining room. It's Ruval having his brother Riser gripped on the wrist. This is just all too messy.

"Care to explain?" Asked Rias to you men in the room. 

"My dumbass came for the ride not knowing where I'm going." You state your case.

"You said you were going to the steakhouse." Cried Ruval to his brother.

Riser let out a belch. "The fillet is swell."

"Diamonds isn't a steakhouse you swine!" 

Ravel looked down as she walked over to you. She is upset. Angry as a flamethrower and about to break down. You turn your face and close your eyes. "Go ahead." You're preparing for this massive slap.

"Honey..." She sniffled.

"I'm ready. Just get this over with." 

She hugged you. Her chest into your chest and squeezing hard. "Honey!" This is when the waterworks start.

"Rav?"

"What did she do to you? I smell her."

"What?" How am I not getting the crap knocked out of me?

"What did the girl do to you?" Cried Ravel.

"Sat in my lap and offered a dance and such and I told her to get off and grab a plate of food with me. Didn't even get the food before everything happened."

"Riser was having his face in tits while drinking vodka. What the hell is Riser coming back for?" Riser was annoyed and didn't think that you should have messed up his good time. Or his brother either who was still hanging onto him.

"Sorry Honey." Ravel sniffled and wiped the tears from her face. Then walked over to her brother. Ruval let go of Riser and stepped back. Ravel reached behind her dress. In between this giant ribbon and the dress itself she pulled out a frying pan. She grunted and swung. "HAH!" DING! Riser had the cast iron connect the the center of his forehead and he fell right back.

"Guhhh... Riser head. Head Riser hurt..." He was fumbling his words.

"Hmph. Jerk." Ravel wiped the last few tears before walking over to the girls again. Over towards Asia and nodded before putting the weapon down. "Thank you." She bowed.

"No problem." Smiled Asia.

"Rav..." You just stood there.

"Honey? Do me a favor and hop in the shower. You smell like a whore's perfume. Hot water and I'll see you in a minute." That was a direct order. Priority one. But hey, she didn't hit you. No smack or frying pan. Who knew she was armed at that.

"Yes Dear..." You nod to her. "Thank you Ruval. Ladies. See ya." You march to the steps and head up to your room to grab a robe and towel. 

"Now you." Ravel turned to her eldest brother Ruval.

"Yes sister?" Asked Ruval.

"Tell me what happened once you got out of the car." 

Ruval took a deep breath. "Your boyfriend and I were just chatting when the limo stopped. Riser got out of the limo and walked into the club and over to surround himself with more girls and alcohol. As if he didn't already do that at home."

Another belch from Riser as he's still on the ground. "Variety."

"As I said brother, pig." Ruval shook his head. Then turned back to Ravel. "I found myself a nice woman who's dancing to pay for her schooling. We just ordered our drinks and a meal and your boyfriend was following my lead with the same plan. Told him not to worry. He declined offers to a schoolgirl dressed dancer that was rather clingy and composed himself well. Ordered drinks and not long after Miss Akeno showed up. From there I knew I must make us present."

"Wait, you ordered my boyfriend alcohol?" Asked Ravel.

"No-no. Virgin. Non-alcoholic. What do you think I am? I said I was going to be his wingman, and outside the said establishment I think he did well. And the dancer knows that he's taken. She tried to really persuade him, but he was good. I didn't have to step in."

"No surprised really." Said Rias from the table.

"Neither am I." Put in Akeno.

"I didn't want to believe (FN) did anything, but, it's just the scent and he seemed to play it too cool. Did he?" Ravel was confused.

"Well you hit your brother with a frying pan..." Ruval flinched.

"Riser has headache." Riser still laying on the ground.

"Good. Sober up and get kicked by the nearest horse from here." Huffed Ruval.

"Was he think that you were testing him? Not trying to make him worry? What is it?" Ravel wanted answers.

"You sent him off. He's upstairs. Run to him now. You will get honest answers." Ruval smiled. "Sister, you picked a great boyfriend. You know I approve of him. Now run to him. Get the answers you seek." He nodded. "Go fly to him."

"Honey!" Ravel ended up flying up to check your bedroom door.

"Now, we shall be out of here. I should shackle you to me while we eat and I can enjoy my steak and cocktail in peace." Ruval lifted off Riser from the ground and threw him on his shoulders. "Apologies for the nonsense girls. We shall be off. Please give my sister my regards and see you next time under better circumstances." With that Ruval teleported off in a summoning circle. No need for him being here anymore.

Ravel flew up to your room. Not walking up the stairs. Flying swiftly in a panic. Not even knocking either. She just barged in. "Honey I'm sorry!" 

You just tied up your robe. "Uhhh, what?"

"Ruval told me everything. Come here." She ran to hug you. Jumping into your chest and you landed half on the bed. "Baby I'm sorry if there was any doubt."

"It's my fault too. I should have called you."

"No Hun, I trust you and Ruval gave me an honest answer. So here's plan B."

"Okay."

She put her finger on your lips. Your heart was racing. So much has gone on the last five minutes. The events are just flashing before your eyes. "Wash that scent off and we go out on a date. I know you didn't eat. So we're going anywhere you want. You just name it and its happening. Got it?" 

"Yes Dear... I guess-"

She smiled and sighed in relief. "Go shower Honey. I love you."

"I love you too."
