It's been almost a month since my discovery of the reason for the disappearance of my nightmares. Nothing has changed since then I still get them but the more and more I stay with Matt the less I get them. At school, everything is the same except Matt and Oscar both tried out for the lacrosse team and made it in. I've gone to all his games and they've won all except one, the last game. Here at Rosebell lacrosse is just as a big deal as football. They have practice every day after school so Matt and I don't hang out as often but we make do with the time we can. We usually just hang out at each other's houses maybe once or twice we've gone out. While he's at practice I usually hang out in the forest or with Sophia, Elizabeth, and Jessica. We go to the mall, cafe, or movies I'm glad they decided to break away from their group because I wouldn't be doing those things if they were and I would be locked away in my room. I'm sitting at my usual lunch table when Matt sits next to me putting his food tray down, he kisses my cheek then drops his head on the table.

"Hey! Do you want a concussion, what's wrong?" I gently lift his head putting my sweatshirt for him to use as a pillow before letting his head back down.

"Coach is stressing us out, he is always keeping us on edge and he is punishing us for losing the last game" he mumbles.

"Well at least you guys have only lost one game, the team is great especially you" At this Matt raises his head smiling at me before straightening and eating his food.

"So you guys going to the party?" Elizabeth asks, Jessica nods and Sophia doesn't answer.

"Nope," I say a little too quickly making all heads turn to me.

"Why not!?" Jessica asks and I just shrug my shoulders. The real reason is that that's what I did back home, party and it's not a cycle I want to start again.

"Oh come on just this once, it's your senior year you have to live a little besides you've never been to one" that's what you all think

I was about to decline again but Matt Interrupts me.

"Actually she can't go" he says, I know I don't want to go but I cross my arms at him as to see why he just assumed he can decide.

"And why's that?" I ask raising my eyebrow at him.

"Because we're going to dinner" He casually says still looking down at his food and eating.

"I'm sorry, what?" This time he turns to me and smiles.

"You heard me, we haven't hung out much because of lacrosse so today after the game we'll meet at The Coriander at eight" I can't believe how casually he just asks or tells me more like it not that I'm complaining I really want to hang out with him.

"Ooh I love that place, we'll Jessica there's your answer" all the girls smirk.

"Hey Matt don't you have to meet up with the boys to talk about the game" I look down at the phone seeing he's 10 minutes late and I show him the time.

"Dammit I'm late, see you at the game?" I nod

"Great! Then until then Em, Love you" He adds before kissing me on my lips and running out of the lawn my eyes following him out until he disappears. Turning around to see all of them with their mouths open.

"You guys should close your mouths before you catch flies," I say before turning back to eating my food.

"When did you guys exchange 'I love you's'?" Sophia asks and they all come closer as if that will make me say it to them sooner.

"On his birthday"

"Oh you mean the weekend my parents went out to visit family to come back to know that Matt and you slept on the same bed" Sophia smirks, Jessica and Elizabeth scream in disbelief.
