"Guess who has some dope ass ghost powers, now?!" You exclaim, jumping up and down like a little girl.
Jimin, who watched the entire thing unravel, points at Yeona and says, "If you can do that, let's see if you can alter your visibility." Jimin smirks at the amateur ghost and goes back to his seat. He looks for more powers that you haven't unlocked yet. This is an entire game, right here. Jimin thinks.
"Ah! I think I found something."
You walk over to Jimin and lean over him. "According to, Keeping Up With The Ghostbusters—" Jimin laughs at the sentence. "In order for a ghost to be seen, the power is simply within. Imagination at its finest is crucial, here. In which, the more you're able to concentrate, the more powerful you'll become. And, the more powerful you'll become, the higher the chance of toggling your ghost opacity." Jimin reads aloud. He raises his eyebrows in skepticism. Imagination? That's it?
You, on the contrary, nod your head in understanding. You believe that, as easy as it sounds, it will probably take some time for you to be fully visible. Since, you can barely pay attention in class, let alone your own being, this will probably take some time.
"GUYS! I THINK I FOUND SOMETHING!"
The librarian, who was still organizing books, shushes the person who yelled. Hoseok, however, took it as a chance to make his signature remarks, and smirks,
"Make me, babygirl."
The librarian gasps and blushes, shaking her head at the nickname. She continues to organize the books while stuffing her head into the bookshelf, in order to hide her crimson colored face.
Yeona grimaces at the name. Ew. Jimin sighs and walks over to his hyung, as he knows Hoseok likes to play with all his victims. Like toys. Jimin thought.
"What is it, Hoseok-ah?"
"Check this website out." Hoseok points at the title of the website. "Phantom physiology. Sounds fancy, right?" Hoseok asks with interest. "Now, look at what I found." Hoseok scrolls down to a category and starts reading aloud,
"Enlisted below are some powers/abilities ghosts can grasp all due to concentration:
Electromagnetic Interference - All ghosts disrupt nearby electronics with their presence.
Thermokinesis - Nearly all ghosts can lower or drop the surrounding temperature with their presence.
Invisibility - Ghosts can remain invisible to the living, but they may appear as a blur or faint light. However, when they want, they can appear as they were in life though it takes awhile to gain that level of strength. They appear in wispy, distorted, flickering forms.
Telekinesis - They are able to move virtually anything with their minds if they have enough concentration on the objects. With practice they can become stronger telekinetics, able to manipulate many simple objects at once. Very powerful ghosts are highly capable telekinetics, able to throw people like demons can."
Yeona shrieks. "Good job, Hobi! You hit the jack pot!" Although he can't hear you, you want to congratulate your brother for being such a good researcher. After all, his major is psychological research. Jimin scoffs. "Way to one up me, hyung." Jimin mumbles. Hoseok smiles brightly at the blonde. Knowing how much Jimin hates when people one-up him, he loves one-upping him all the time. It just shows how much Hoseok appreciates the young man.
Hoseok logs out of the computer and winks at the librarian while walking out. Now outside, Hoseok states,
"Well, shall we try those powers, at home, then?"
•••
Namjoon and Jin enter the Headquarters for the realm. Namjoon and Jin walk stiffly, alert, knowing that going here leads to some kind of trouble somehow with all the confidentially with all recipients. Somehow. Knowing that this place is a little sketchy on everything, the two genies remain on edge.
"Ah, the Kim's. It's been awhile since we have seen each other, now, have we?" The secretary chided excitingly.
"Dandy." Jin murmured. Namjoon mentally rolls his eyes at the secretary's tone. She's way too perky for, anything, really. Namjoon concludes absentmindedly.
The secretary giggles and sits up straight. She tries to act serious and clears her throat.
"How can I help you, guys?"
"We're here make an adjustment on a wish I granted on behalf of the person who wished for it." Jin declared smoothly. The secretary nods her head and types something on her computer. She clicks her tongue and looks at the two males.
"You two know the drill, already. The two of you may go see them." She states. She giggles and waves at them. The two genies wave back slowly, not really indulging her giddiness.
"Fairies, am I right?" Jin says amusingly. Namjoon laughs and shakes his head, Amused by the secretary, as well.
The two remain on alert for the remainder of the walk. Namjoon raises an eyebrow. He knows that the 6 representatives will probably tell Jin and him something beyond absurdity. An uneasy feeling erupts from his demeanor. Thinking now, he interprets the probability of Yeona's wish getting fixed, let alone removed. It's almost slim, for the reason that the paranormal is included with this. So, isn't she dead, then?
Namjoon's thoughts are interrupted by the knocking of a door. A muffled 'come in' is heard, and the two genies are now standing in front of the Supreme Court of all 6 types of fantasy like people.
"Kim Namjoon. Kim Seokjin. What is the issue that has brought you two to be present?" One of the reps spoke, the head wizard of the 6 types of people in the realm, Choi Chaerin.
Namjoon clears his throat. His mouth suddenly running dry. Jin clears his throat, as well. "Well you see, Rep. Chaerin, we have a problem with a wish that I granted, for it turned horribly wrong for the recipient." Jin says confidently. The elder isn't afraid of the 6 'powerful people in the realm'. Believing that half of them are airheads, he concluded that this government system, isn't really democratic.
-
After the wish was stated and what the correct wish was supposed to be. The 6 huddle around each other and begin to whisper. Jin and Namjoon wait anxiously, slightly unprepared for what their verdict will be. A hint of uneasiness cascades around the two, feeling that they're not going to get what they want, here.
The 6 return back to their spots. The head genie sighs and sets his glasses down. Looking at the two genies solemnly, he states,
"I believe your wish is too complicated for only us to solve. However, we did figure out one part." The powerful genie, Baekhyun, suggests. What comes out of the head genie's mouth makes the two genies raise their eyebrows.
"In order for the wish to be undone, the process will have to be done the day before the recipients birthday. But, only, I cannot stress this enough, only the day before, for which she is at the end of the first year of her wish. If it is not before, she would have to wait until the next birthday."
"Now here's the part the two of you won't like." Baekhyun points at the two.
"Unfortunately, this isn't our problem, but the underworld's. So, you two will need to talk to them."
