Chapter Fifteen

"Yoongi..."

You trailed off due to your emotions taking over. You never would have imagined Yoongi being this vulnerable to you. The way he was talking about Elisa, so fragile, like if he pushed further,

He would break.

But at the same time, he looks happy. Happy for the reason that Elisa is still with him, but just with some circumstances.

You wonder if the rules with you apply exactly the same with her,

Or maybe not.

Yoongi chuckles softly, his wipes his tears and then yours, not wanting to see you cry over him any longer.

"Elisa is still with me, and that's all that matters. It's a little crazy, but I'm glad she's here."

"So just know, Yeona, that things could get worse."

Yoongi pauses, and examines your expression. A solemn look on your face allows him to continue.

"You can do this. I know you can, we'll get through this okay, kiddo?"

You sniffle and nod determinedly, knowing that's he's absolutely right. You know you can, as you realized that may night.

"Thank you for trusting me, Yoongi. I know how much of a soft topic this is for you."

Yoongi smiles softly. "Come on, let's hurry so we can head downstairs and show the guys what you've accomplished."

You nod and exit the bathroom, letting Yoongi do his business. After waiting for Yoongi to finish, the two of you head downstairs to tell them the news. You walk slowly, allowing Yoongi to be ahead of you while you're deep into your thoughts. You smile absentmindedly as you finally accomplished the main component of getting closer to being human.

I can act human now.

The two of you seem to have made an entrance as all eyes look at you and Yoongi. Jimin stands up quickly and walk towards you, a look of worry written across his face. You look at Yoongi who is grinning wildly at the blonde, then at Jimin. Yoongi grins as he thinks about what he's about to do to you at this very moment in time,

Making him grin even wider.

Jimin starts to speak when gets cut off by Yoongi pushing you towards Jimin, making you stumble into Jimin's arms. The rest gasp as you are now enclosed securely in the blondes arms, making you mentally panic as Jimin's arms tighten around you, making sure you are okay.

"Yeona—oh my goodness."

Jimin looks down at you, seeing a flustered you who's trying to control her breathing. He chuckles softly and loosens his grip around you, mentally apologizing for the strong grip he had on you. You step back and cough awkwardly, looking down so he won't be able to see your tinted face.

Jungkook eyes you distastefully, not liking the sudden scene that just unraveled in front his eyes whatsoever slightly. However, he shakes his head in defeat as he knows not to get so worked up about his best friend finally getting a girl.

Jungkook stands up and walks towards your figure, he grabs your wrist which causes you to look at him wildly.

"I can see and touch you, noona. Why?"
