Just a little warning before you proceed to read on forward. This goes for all the chapters after.
The mentioning of rape and graphic violence is only for the help of the plot only and will be brought up once or multiple times. I will not be using it so exploit/discriminate anyone. Rape is not a joke, I know. So if you guys are a little iffy on that, skip the parts or stop reading my book. I apologize for any further convenience. Enjoy this chapter guys.

"He's thinking of selling his soul to the devil."
Felix says with so much mockery laced around his voice, his eyes piercing Rose's heart warmed soul. Her eyes widen at his choice of words. She never would have expected her father to correlate with such a turn out.
His soul to the devil? But, why?
Life in prison could not be that traumatizing that he has to take such drastic measures. He will definitely regret doing this—all demons regret it, but what sets him apart is that his free will and choice, is yearning for it.
"You can't be serious," Rose shakes her head, "have you talked him out of it, at least?"
Felix blinks slowly, and then bursts into a fit of laughter, resulting into Rose's stomach dropping even further down her body. She struggles to swallow the lump in her throat, as the profound fear of the demon in front of her is trickling faster than ever.
She wonders how inhumane a person could be. Never would she ever think of doing something so evil to a point and time that she laughs about it.
Oh, boy.
Felix wipes a tear from his eye. His laughter subsides as he calms down.
"Why would I? I don't fucking care how bad or good or whatever you want this to be—sounds. His soul is perfect for entertainment." Felix muses,
"That bitch of a father doesn't deserve to have a soul anyway." Rose tilts her head in confusion.
If he doesn't care, why does he care whether he has a soul or not? He shouldn't even care at all, right?
Her eyes flicker to his smirk, to his bright crimson eyes. She sometimes wonders if he somehow has a third of his soul left, because he wouldn't have said that if he lacked the sense of mind.
Perhaps he's just conflicted with this entire situation, disdained and corrupted with the life of Yeona.
"Why do you say that?" Rose asks.
"Her father almost fucking ruined that girl's life with rape—while being drunk. He hurt her and her mom physically and could've injured Yeona badly if it wasn't for her brother Hoseok. Her father deserves to go to hell." Felix says ruthlessly and confidently.
Rose looks at him in horror, making Felix chuckle.
"Close your mouth, Rose, dear, you might catch a fly."
Rose blinks multiple times and shakes her head, mentally scolding herself for displaying such a reaction.
"Her father did that to her?" Rose asks in a whisper. She knew that her father was bad news for Yeona, but never would she have thought of this.
If only Felix knew the law of ethics, he would have solved this easily. But, for someone who has been a demon for so long,
How can he?
Felix nods his head as he takes a chug out of the wine Woozi has left half empty.
"Her father is a disgrace. Her mother is just as pathetic as her father, but unfortunately, her father managed to kill her, so—" Felix shrugs carelessly. Not a bit of emotion is plastered onto his face. His words lack empathy, and so does his soul.
