Chapter Thirty Nine

Jimin stands with immense stiffness and shock, letting the ghost girl kiss his lips gently, hoping she doesn't notice that the blonde is not kissing back. He slowly rewinds the words he just heard through Yeona's lips, and slowly begins to reciprocate her actions. He grabs her waist, and kisses back with a bit more force than he anticipated, making her notice the sudden change in pace. He shrugs the sudden blunt action he did, as it has been awhile that he got to kiss those rosy lips, and his body is surging with sheer euphoria due to the three existential words that she said to him and only him.

Yeona, assuming that Jimin accepted her confession, also accepts the sudden force of Jimin's kiss, and grabs his face with both hands now. And, now the two are just standing outside of the courtroom mindlessly making out with each other.

Lucifer runs out to make sure the ghost who ran recklessly out the courtroom is okay, but to his luck, a smile gets plastered on his face, as he sees Yeona and Jimin finally making amends with each other as he knew that they weren't on good terms before. He looks at them one last time, and walks back into the courtroom, shaking his head with a chuckle. However his smile slowly fades when he sees Rose sitting once again at the benches, watching Felix recklessly lose the poker game, salty tears streaking her face. He walks over to her, and sits. Rose stares with an eyebrow raised, then sighs and shakes her head, "I didn't mean to hurt her this much, father," she whispers.

Lucifer looks at Felix, hands cuffed with chains covered with several runes, and grabbed by two demonic body guards. Felix feels his father's stare, and looks back with a apologetic smile, which slowly turns into a sinister one; raising his hand up, waving. He then looks at Rose and winks, making her gasp in surprise.

"I won't be the only one here, so I'll see you soon, sis."

Felix chuckles softly and let's the demons drag him into a cell.

Lucifer sighs, "I'll deal with you, later."

He stands up and trudges towards the demons who took Felix, leaving Rose to deal with her thoughts once more. She stares at the clock ticking mindlessly from the wall, then the date that's included within the clock: July 13th.

Five days away from that bitch's birthday. She frowns, then sighs at the mess she has created as well. Standing up, she walks inside the room that Felix and her father are in, and rolls her eyes.

Let's just get this shit over with.

Hoseok looks at Rose, and then at what she was looking at, and widens his eyes.

Oh, hell no.

"How long are do you think they are going to take?" Namjoon asks Jin, who is currently trying on sunglasses, and posing at the mirror, then at Namjoon.

"How do I look?" Jin puckers up his lips, and flashes a peace sign at the bored looking genie.

"Fantastic," Namjoon deadpans, "How long—"

"I don't know, to be honest," Jin says while looking at himself in the mirror, examining whether he has any blemishes or not on his skin.

Namjoon rolls his eyes at the stylish genie for his sense of style. However, he lacks his sudden control to not stare, as he is staring at the genie with a focused look; eyebrows furrowed and mind clouded with unnecessary yet confusing thoughts about Jin.

"Namjoon?"

His eyes shift quickly to a confused Jin who is wearing the most ridiculous glasses. Jin reciprocates the stare that is being given from Namjoon, attempting to read his stare.

Without intentions, Jin takes a step closer to Namjoon, making the brunette's heart pace quicker than usual for some odd reason. However, he doesn't question the action that was made, and instead, reciprocates Jin's move. He then raises his hand, and grabs gently the corner of Jin's sunglasses, taking him by surprise.

"These look good on you," Namjoon says hoarsely and slowly. Jin looks at him with a mixed expression, not knowing what to say. He can feel his cheeks slightly heating up; tinted pink due to either embarrassment or fluster.

"Come on, we need to meet up with Jimin, Hoseok and Yeona." Namjoon backs away, and walks towards the exit with a small smirk written all over his face.

Jin remains in his spot, not moving an inch; attempting to reconsider the stuff that had just occurred. He then slowly takes off the sunglasses, and looks at his flustered and bothered face through the mirror. His confusion grows as to why this occurred, but immediately shakes it off, as he quickly puts the sunglasses back to where they were, and dashed out of the store without any further thought of why he reacted that way with Namjoon.

Hoseok walks out of the courtroom, but takes a abrupt halt as he see his sisters mouthing the blonde she literally began loathing two days ago. He coughs loudly, attempting to catch both of their attention; working.

Jimin and Yeona look at Hoseok, who is still holding the infamous bat, and depart from one another, feeling embarrassed because Hoseok caught them.

"So," Hoseok smirks at his sister, "I see that we have finally made amends."

Yeona looks away from her brother, and thinks about what she had said to Jimin.

I just told him that I love him.

Fuck.

Jimin looks at Yeona's shy state and chuckles, "what happened with Felix?"

"Oh, he's dead meat," Hoseok waves, "Lucifer says that we have to meet him with the demonic counsel next week."

"What's going on next week?" Yeona asks, making Hoseok scoff, taking Yeona by surprise.

"You fool," Hoseok says, shaking his head, "it's your birthday!"

The blonde's eyebrows furrow, mentally scolding for forgetting the date as well. He wonders what will happen after Yeona fixes her wish, and becomes human once again. Will she continue to talk to him?

Obviously, you idiot. You just made out with her, yet you're still questioning whether she'll talk to you, or not?

Jimin looks up and grabs Yeona's hand, making the ghost gasp, then cover her mouth; cheeks reddening by the second. Hoseok stifles a laugh at her sister, but his heart warms due to his sister's blooming relationship.

"Well then," Jimin says, squeezing the ghost's hand, "before we get down to business with that."

"Jin called me," he pauses, and looks at Hoseok with a serious look.

"Namjoon found Woozi, and he wants to talk to Yeona."

Um, Hi c: long time no see, eh? I was very busy last week, as I got very lazy and completely forgot about this book which I am very Stoody for deadass deadass. But I have a decent-ish excuse; I struggle immensely with ending things, such as conclusions or epilogues, so pls bear with me because this book is gearing towards the end soon soon. However, that is no excuse, and I need to step up my A-game.
