Chapter Six

"Guys! Yeona is inside the mirror!"

You jump due to Jungkook's scream. You look in the mirror and see Jungkook looking at you. Your eyes widen at the fact that you just saw the maknae turn pale right before your eyes.

"What the actual fuck?" You say, mouth agape.

Hoseok is the first person to report to the scene. He trudges to the mirror and sees you. As if your eyes can't get any bigger. You gasp and cover your mouth. Hoseok walks closer to the mirror and says,

"Yeona?"

"It's me, Hoseok." You say, uncovering your mouth. "Oh my god." Hoseok says quickly. He can hear you. Yeona is literally inside the mirror.

The rest of the boys come down. Namjoon and Jin examine you in the mirror. "How is this possible?" Namjoon questions. "The myth is true." Jin says quietly. "Ghosts can be seen in mirrors." "I didn't know, either." You say, shrugging. "So, we can see and hear, too? Great." Yoongi mumbles.

"Alright, we found Yeona. That's great, bravo. Now, Jin, Namjoon, y'all better have a good ass explanation for all of this." Taehyung demands.

Your eyes land on Jimin, who has been looking at you the entire time. Jimin smiles at you reassuringly, telling you that everything is going to be fine.

You gulp. Oh, boy.

"So—" Yoongi crosses his legs together and points a finger at Jin and Namjoon. "—you're telling me, that this ass eater over here—" Yoongi now points at Jin. "—turned poor Yeona into a ghost?" Yoongi raises an eyebrow.

"Yes, Yoongi." Jin says boringly. "I already said it like 5 times. And—I did not turn Yeona into a ghost! The wish did!"

"I don't believe this bullshit." Taehyung mumbles. "How can these two be genies? Out of all people. And how can Jimin be the only one who can see her?" Taehyung waves his hands around exasperatedly.

"Look, Tae, it's 7 in the fucking morning, on a Saturday. I could be sleeping right now, but here we are, huddled around me who's standing in front of a mirror." You say sassily. "If you don't want to believe this 'bullshit'—" You air quote, "The door is over there." You point at the door and raise an eyebrow at Taehyung. The blonde scoffs and mumbles a 'whatever', crossing his arms and pouting. Jungkook, who watches the whole scene, speaks up, "Damn, she's a feisty one." Jungkook states. "Hey, Yeona, how about when this is all over, we can go out sometime, yeah?" Jungkook smirks at you.

Although Jungkook is extremely attractive, you know that, that is an extremely bad idea. Going out with the heartbreaker of the group, gives you the chills.

"Not today, Satan. Not tomorrow, not ever." You say, rolling your eyes. Hoseok finally speaks up, "Okay, okay. Now is not the time for this. We need to know what's going on." "Hyung, they already did. It's true what they're saying. Namjoon made it snow this morning to show me that he really is a genie." Jimin says.

Jin stands up straight and points at Namjoon. Namjoon's eyes widen. "You were the one that made it snow this morning and made it stop at exactly 6:00!?" He says a little loud. Namjoon raises his hands in surrender. "Hyung, I did it to convince Jimin-ah. That's all." Namjoon says quickly. Jin, who is still upset, shakes his head at the man.

"Okay, so these two morons are genies. How did Yeona become a ghost, then?" Hoseok asks. He looks at you with an unreadable expression. You know that Hoseok is trying to hide his feelings from you. He does this whenever he's sad. You know it became a habit after the incident with your parents. So, you smile at him and mouth a 'I love you, Hobi", to him, trying to tell him that everything will be okay. Hoseok's eyes soften and mouths an 'I love you', back.

"Okay so, Yeona made a wish on her birthday. Her wish was too broad for it to get what she wanted. So, the wish took a wild guess and granted it." Jin says to the group. "Unfortunately, I have no idea how to undo this. I just granted it; I don't control the wishes."

"So, we're stuck, then." Jimin says. Jin nods and smiles apologetically at you.

"Wait!" Taehyung exclaims. The group looks at him weirdly. You wonder where he got all this energy from, for it is way too early for this nonsense. "Yes, Tae?" Namjoon asks.

"So, Yeona," Tae says smugly.

"Care to explain what that wish is?"

After the meeting with the mirror, Jimin walks up to Yeona. He taps her shoulder and whispers in her ear,

"Meet me in my room, please."

Jimin walks away, leaving the ghost flustered. Oh my goodness. Yeona fans her face with her hand, trying to get rid of the redness that appeared on her cheeks. You still can't believe the fact that your wish partially came true; Jimin noticed you, and now you guys are finally talking. Now, I just have to figure out how to woo him. Finally calming down, Yeona walks up to Jimin's room.

Jungkook sips his tea, after waiting for the hot beverage to turn warm. Although he knows that Jimin is talking to Yeona, watching Jimin talk to air like that was very amusing to the red haired boy. He pokes the inside of his cheek. How am I going to get Yeona if Jimin is always around her? He has never seen Jimin talking to a girl this much. Maybe he's finally listening to us. He thought. But, when he's talking to the girl Jungkook has his eye on, makes his eyes narrow.

He never has had competition with his hyungs. They know that when he has an eye on someone, the boys immediately back away. He never had to worry about Jimin trying to intervene, but seeing the scene that unraveled right in front of his brown eyes, makes the boy wonder.

He continues to sip his tea. Suddenly remembering something that was proposed during the ghost meeting. Jungkook swallows harshly his tea before he can involuntarily spit it out. Setting down the tea cup, his eyebrows furrow.

Flashback

"I don't want to talk about my wish, at the moment." Yeona mumbles while looking at Jimin. Jimin notices her stare and winks at her. Yeona quickly looks away and blushes. She can't let Jimin, even worse, the boys, know her ridiculous wish. She has to stall somehow. "Oh come on, Yeona! Just tell us!" Taehyung presses. Before Yeona could retort, Jin speaks for her, "Tae, that's enough. If she doesn't want to say, respect her decision."  Yeona looks at Jimin once more. Jungkook could tell that Yeona is obviously thinking about Jimin. He raises an eyebrow and looks away.

End of flashback

Wait a minute. Jungkook thought,

What is Yeona's wish?

Aaaaaaand, cut! Chapter six y'all! Ahhhhh, I can't believe I'm actually writing a book. I've always been told that my writing is so good, but I lack so much creativity. But, I'm trying my best here, guys. I'm going to try to make this book decent. But I think it already is because WE'RE ALMOST AT 300 READERS?!?
