Trish's P.O.V
I gazed down at my watch, seeing what today's date was. It was June the 7th. Wow, I thought. My birthday is coming up. I refocused my thoughts on Zach. Who took him? Why did they take him? I started to feel light-headed as I took a step back, falling onto the ground and seeing nothing but darkness.
*About 3 hours later*
I regained consciousness and tried to pry my eyes open. Once I managed to open my eyes, I immediately closed them again due to the bright white light. Bright white light, I thought. Have I been kidnapped? Where am I? The thoughts swarmed my head like a bee on a summer's day. A hospital! I finally realized. A hospital? Why am I here? I remembered what happened back at home. I opened my eyes, looking around the room. No one was here, meaning no one would realized if I left.
I devised a plan in my head. I could leave through the window, but what's the fun in that? I pulled the IV out of my arm, and stood up. I felt a little dizzy, but I think I'm okay. I walked over to the door and peeked out. Great, my room is right in front of the nurses station. How am I going to sneak out now? I guess I'll have to go out the window. I walked back over to the bed and climbed up on it. Then, I leaned over to the window and pulled open the blinds to see the blinding light. Oww, what time is it?, I thought, gazing down at my watch. 8:33?! Dang, it's early. I stood up more on the bed and unhooked the first latch on the window. I dipped back down and undid the bottom lock. BEEP, BEEP, BEEP, BEEP. What the heck? I'd better go! I rolled out of the window, landing in a bush. Thank God I was on the first floor! I didn't even check. I pulled myself out of the bush and stood up. I was still a little wonky, but I managed to pull myself together. I'd better call Justin. I patted my legs and felt nothing but bare skin. I looked down and realized that all I was wearing was a hospital gown. I looked back up at the window and decided that I needed my phone and clothes. I put my hands on the sill of the window and used all my strength to pull myself up. I climbed back into the window and grabbed my phone from the side table. I looked around the room until I spotted my clothes on the floor next to the closet. I quickly shuffled over there and picked them up. I closed the door and put on my clothes. I walked back over to the window and jumped out. Getting out of the bush, I pulled out my phone and went to the Uber app. Looking down at my phone, I didn't realize that a van had pulled up in front of me. I looked up, then looked back at my phone. Hmm, it says my car is supposed be a Sedan, but this is a minivan. Also, how's it get here so fast? Whatever, I thought, walking to the van. Once I got to the van, two men in black hopped out. What the--, I started to say, before a rag was put over my nose.
A/N: a bee on a summer's day what does that even mean
