A Nest Of Hate

{3 days later}

Col. S. Thomson calls.

Col. S. Thomson: " Ryder, sorry for the interruption, but how copy?"

Ryder: " Read you."

Col. S. Thomson: " We've got the POI. He's heading to the City Hall to hide out something. You know what I'm talking about when I say something?"

Ryder: " Yeah. Filthy things that could either hurt or help us. I can't wait."

Col. S. Thomson: " Are you serious right now? Take this seriously. The longer it takes to drag out, the more likely Chase is to find out about us."

Ryder: " Well, gee. We sure don't want to make him mad or anything."(call ends)

{They went to the City Hall}

Don Willis calls.

Don: " So the pointless pursuit continues."

Ryder: " Yeah, don't worry. We'll be seeing you real soon, Don."

Don: " And then what? You kill me? And then what do you do after that?"

Ryder: " We put an end to whatever nonsense is going on. Then it's time, we kill Chase."

Don: " I see. And if you have to defeat or kill thousands of our people to do it? You're quite the hero... of your kind."

Ryder: " So?"

Don: " So... when will you all wake up and smell the coffee and the fresh air? What does it smell like? Freedom. Care. Friendship. You get the point. But Chase is the real hero now. And even if he has to kill or defeat thousands of people to do it? He's more of a hero than you'll ever be."

Ryder: " How do you know if Chase has secretly become a villain behind most of your back?"

Don: " Maybe because he hasn't tried anything suspicious like you. Think about that."(call ends)

{When made to the area of the City Hall}

Don was walking towards the City Hall but sensed Paw Patrol and saw them.

Don: " No wonder he hates you so much. You're as stubborn as Merryweather is--along with his lying, cheating, ungrateful, and back-stabbing ex-girlfriends and those who tried to kill him when he was his normal charming, handsome self."

He ran over cars and made his way into the City Hall. The Paw Patrol followed him but lost sight of him.

Don: " So who told you about me? Colonel Sebastian Thomson of Merryweather?"

They entered a chamber.

Don: " Killing me or Chase is not going to make a difference but make people hate you."

Ryder: " No. But it's gonna buy Merryweather time to receive their guns and equipment."

Don appeared, dressed as a politician.

Don: " Maybe you need more time to think about this."

Don called in a K9 unit to deal with them and left. 

Ryder: " Oh, you coward."

They managed to escape the K9 unit and went outside.

Ryder: " We know you're out here."

Don: " You think I'm hiding from you? I'm just waiting for you to tire yourself out."

Don fell from a building and landed a few feet away from them. Ryder found two swords and wanted to fight.

Don: " If you'd just join Chase and me, we wouldn't have to do this silly bickering."(while summoning two swords and changing into his red and black outfit)

He and Ryder battled each other.

Ryder: " Check out my new tricks. Learned something from your friends."

Don: " Pfft. You're not trained enough to beat me or any of our kind."

Continued fighting.

Don: " You don't even know our plan so how can you be so judgemental?"

Ryder: " That won't matter, even in the afterlife."

Don: " You won't get that opportunity to see the afterlife as you think you will."

Continued fighting.

Don: " All this over you not having any allies other than Merryweather and bad guys being punished for their crimes?"

Ryder: " Monster like you wouldn't even understand."

Don: " Someone like you wouldn't even know what's best... for anyone or anything."

Continued fighting. Don won. He grabbed Ryder and held him in the air by the throat.

Don: " Show me what you got."(placed his finger on his forehead with a spark of lightning and read a memory)

{2 days ago}

Ryder: " You know, Colonel, this is more like a dream for me."

Col. S. Thomson: " The heck you talking about, Ryder?"

Ryder: " Being with a group with technology, it's cool."

Col. S. Thomson: " No problems then."

Skye: " None, Colonel ... Sir. Our transport lines effectively skirt all of Blackwatch's security measures."

Col. S. Thomson: " So the whole of our super advance techno-gear stores are currently leaving the "Green Zone" coming here."

Skye: " Yes. The operation starts only at your command."

Col. S. Thomson: " Good girl. Good girl. By the way, Ryder-and this is out of topic-how are things between you and your girl Katie?"

Ryder: " I used to have feelings for her, but now I don't so. She's always playing with Callie, her pet."

Col. S. Thomson: " She makes time for you, though."

Ryder: " True. But still, I think she's not worth it. So I slept with her friends the other night when I said I was working late."

Col. S. Thomson: " Don't... EVER!... Do that again."

{Present Time}

Don was shocked and threw Ryder into the Paw Patroller.

Ryder: " You--"

Don fired lightning at him.

Don: " You're just like Merryweather: Not just idiotic... but heartless. Wanting to create destruction, chaos, and hate! You could've helped stop this. You're gonna sit up here and let it happen!"

Ryder: " Heartless? You're heartless too, Don, for hurting a girl. Remember Skye?"

Skye: " Yeah. Remember me?"

Don forced choked Skye and brought her closer.

Don: " When Chase finds out you've done rather than what he said to help you and the weapon Merryweather plans to detonate, to destroy him and all the real heroes, doesn't do that, he won't be soft on any traitorous girls. Your little rules don't apply to us anymore. And when he consumes you, he'll be able to withstand even the world's dangerous female regardless if she's pretty."

He throws Skye at to where she was.

Don: " You failed to prove Chase was wrong about you, Paw Patrol. Now ... now you're going to wish you never did any of this!"(while running and flies away)

Ryder: " Coward."

Skye: " Agreed."

Don electrocutes both of them.
