Chase - The Thunder Pup: Season 5

The Descent

[2 days later]

Ryder and the pups, including the exes were in the lookout tower.

Rocky: " Ryder, are you okay?"

Ryder: " Yeah... just wish things weren't this difficult towards us. First, the Whitelight. Next, Marshall ends up killed. Then, we get tricked, put in prison, escaped, and made it back alive."

Rocky: " Yeah... that's the good thing. We're alive."

Everest: " Yeah. Alive."

Everest receives a call on her collar and answers it.

???: " Husty? Everest Husky? Dang it, not good service. The service keeps cutting in and out. Oh god, you escaped, didn't you? Escaped Durgesh."

Everest: " Who are you? You're breaking up."

???: " Crap, I can't hear you. Listen, I'm his contact, Athena. And I can help you. Come find me in New York ... I hope at least one of you can hear me. My name is Lois Ellis. I'm Don Ellis's sister. And, Everest if you can hear me, I have information about your boyfriend: the little dalmatian."

Audio cuts out (ends call)

Everest: " Marshall?"

Ryder: " Paw Patrol to the Paw Patrol Airship! We're going to New York."

The pups and the exes got in the Airship and they went to New York.

{New York}

Skye: " This place is beautiful." 

Ryder: (calls Lois) " Lois Ellis?"

Lois: " Huh? Who is this? How did you get my number?"

Ryder: " You were talking to one of my pups."

Lois: " Captain Ryder? Oh good. Okay, I'm sending you some coordinates. Meet me as soon as you can."

Ryder: " We're coming."

{ At the location(an underground bunker)}

Ryder: " Lois, we're here!"

Lois: " Okay. Opening the door."

The door opened and they landed inside the bunker.

Lois: " This way, Ryder, and pups."

Rocky: " How did you know to find us?"

Lois: " One of my contacts was in the area and saw some team similar to the army go into your tower and search it for something and he wanted to know why. Luckily for I-don't-know-who, your Dalmatian managed to escape and ran away out of the city. (reaches the main lobby) Okay. It's over there. On the table."

They found a picture of him and Everest together.

Everest: " Where do we find him?"

Lois: " I understand miss him, Everest. So do I. I used to know someone who adopted him. As for your Dalmatian, named Marshall, right? He's your firefighter pup and he sounds like a someone wanting good things but if that's the case, he's in the far west region of the nation, probably a secret base or something. The nation is enemy territory. And getting you anywhere close to Marshall over than Adventure Bay is extremely difficult, we'd be shot down or shot up immediately."

Everest: " He's alive. We've always ... always hoped."

Lois: " Come, sit down. Compare notes. Have some tea and cookies if you want."

[5 minutes later]

Lois and the other enjoyed tea and cookies.

Lois: " Look, Ryder, and pups. Even if we know where Merryweather or the Spirit Army is holding Marshall, Chase is still out there and he won't stop. The whole city of Adventure Bay is in danger." 

Ryder: " That is the point. Chase needs to stop. Take time to grieve. He's out of control."

Lois: " Hey, Everest, where are you going?"

Everest: " To find Marshall. I'll tear through the entire nation to do it."

Lois: " Hey, what you think you're going to do? You can't do that. You're missing the point."

Everest: " What point?!"

Lois: " Will you stop trying to rush into things and stop and listen and THINK?! Merryweather is trying to mess up the world, not just the nation. Chase is trying to save it but you're going against him. If either of them does it, it won't matter if you find Marshall or not--he'd die anyway-- or join Chase!"

Everest: " So what are saying?"

Lois: " Let me look for Marshall. I can do that. At least I won't instantly be spotted by enemies. Dealing with or getting butt-whipped by Chase and an entire world of guys and girls with guns and/or superpowers? That's all you. But for now, clear your head. Join the others and think. Don't rush. Come find me when you're ready--as a team."
