Broken Puzzle

21 4 2

I am hopeless with you gone
And have slowly come undone
As every puzzle piece that fits
Is always burned to bits.

Happiness abounded
The strings of our love stemmed
But I scraped them and you cut them and
Our friendship abandoned.

One gloomy day
A quiet, clueless, craving hunter
killed 4 birds
in a single blow
And then she was alone
As in her world there was no more

Years of misery dragged by
And no one was there to hear her cry
As new birds across the sky flew
But these blurs she could not attach
And through the puzzle hole they fell through

She found comfort in a pigeon
And another
After a wait forever
They grew together
But the wretched migration
Inexorably arrived and
killed 2 birds
in a single blow

Intricate bird-made puzzle
That explodes with fireworks
And breathes with love
It is always an almost
Because nothing will stay with me
As life is a cycle you have to let flow
And birds are animals you have to let go.

(A/N): Not my best poem sorry my I feel like this could be elaborated a lot more but it's hard because it's all too much but this is basically about the friends I have lost
